These came well packaged and no dents or scratches were on these when I opened them up!

Unlike some other brands, these wood panels did not require sanding. Some others, in fact, ALL of the other brands I bought here on Amazon required sanding. These panels did not require sanding. I have purchased at the least 150+ panels of this nature, in a variety of sizes though none bigger than 14" x 11", here on Amazon. For works larger I prefer high grade linen and high grade cotton canvas that I buy by the roll on Utrecht.I am quite pleased with the success I am having using these panels for smaller paintings. Excellent in every way, these panels are my preferred brand!

Seems to be well made with clean, nicely aligned edges. Weight and thickness feels just right, certainly does not feel fragile. The wood panel is a slightly darker shade than I expected, with a hint of grey rather than a light yellow - but that's not an issue. I haven't completed a painting on any of these yet, but applied a coat of gesso which it took rather well. Slight hints of glue visible on the joints of some of the mietered edges, in case you're planning to use the "framed" side. However, the joints looked quite clean overall, and I intend to use a couple of them as tiny open "frames" and the others as regular painting panels. Good buy, will purchase again. I've spent hours looking for quality cradled wood panels, so I hope this helps!

These are perfect for crafting! We did a little plant sign night for ladies night! It was a great time!

I purchased the 5x7 panels and was disappointed to receive panels measuring 4 and 7/8" and 6 and 7/8" . They will not work for the project I bought them for. Rip off.
