Dyson Part Would Be Better
My husband and I decided to go with a cheaper alternative to Dyson's $95 + tax replacement head. Wish now we'd gone with the Dyson. While this one does work, it definitely does not work as well as a Dyson original. It sits higher off the floor, therefore, the suction is not nearly as powerful. It takes me twice as long to vacuum an area now because it seems to push the debris around before finally sucking it up. We aren't returning because we've used it several times, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Better than original
Compared to the original Dyson version, this one is:* noticeably lighter* has the LED (which is way more useful than I thought it would be)* picks up kibble better (the Dyson would sometimes fling it)* cheaperThe only potential downside I see is that it doesn't have the little rubber fins that the Dyson had, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference for my usage on hardwood floors.

Even works for Dyson v11s (sort of)
Good little non-OEM dyson motorhead! This lacks the red release tab that newer Dysons have (v8-V11) so it won't snap firmly into place but that doesn't stop it from working fine!PROs --- decent suction, works easily for a fraction of the price of OEM, quiet, lights are GREAT, cheap.CONs -- need to use high power mode for best suction (dog hair on hardwoods).

Great for pet hair!
This vacuum attachment is great for hardwood floors or laminate floors. I have a dog that sheds constantly so wanted to get this soft roller attachment so far it picks up every bit of hair with no issues. Love the light also.

The light at the front is great idea!
Works as good as the original, but the light added at the front helps a lot since our floors are sort of dark and you need a light to see the dirt.We love it!

Wonderful addition to the my dyson.
This attachment to for the dyson is wonder at picking up dirt on hard floors. I purchase as pole to attach to the head.
