I use this with my DJ Osmo Action to record hyperlapse videos while driving. It can be adjusted using the included arm and 90 degree mounting adapter. Very strong suction on steel and glass. I have no doubts about my camera remaining secure in most situations.So far I have no negatives to say about this thing. It is lighter than I expected out of the box, but seems very durable. I haven't had a chance to leave it inside my vehicle in hot temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods yet (season), but this thing is a beast in the cold.

This mount is awesome. I purchased this with the intent on mounting my sports camera onto a car, and record my adventures, and recently I was able to do just that. I went to a local racing track, and placed the mount with the camera onto the front bumper of the car. Now, if one is aware with how much a race track punishes a car, one might also realize the speeds said car was travelling, and with the mount and camera being on the front bumper it would take that head wind at full contact. So naturally I was skeptical that it would hold, but I figured I'd give a try, and boy was I impressed.On the main straight, the car would hit speed upwards of 180-200 kph, and the track surface itself was fairly rough, but this mount held on like a champ! So much so that when I took a break, a went straight to the cemara and see how it held up, when when I tried taking off the mount, it wouldn't come off! It was on so tight that it was actually flexing the entire bumper when I tried taking of. I actually had to brake suction from the outer edge inward in 3 different places to actually get it to come off. VERY IMPRESSED!On the above occasion I didn't use that arm that comes with the mount, but just placed the cam on that 2 prong claw itself, locked it in and it worked very well. (I will upload some pictures later.)PRO:-VERY good suction-held on the car through somewhat bumpy roads-clean, nice designCON:-absolutely NOTHING.

Mittlerweile habe ich neben der GoPro Hero 3 BE noch zwei weitere Actioncams. Die GoPro hing schon immer am original GoPro Suction Cup.Meine SJCam 4000Wifi hingegen musste an so einem wackeligen Saugnapf für knapp 10 Euro. Dessen Arm war so schwabbelig, dass die Kamera selbst im Auto vibriert hat. Nach zwei Jahren ist dann das Plastik gerissen von dem Spannbügel, also begab ich mich auf die Suche ...Zuerst habe ich mir den JOBY Suction Cup mit GorillaPod Arm gekauft. Der ist ebenfalls super und auch nur halb so teuer, wie der Saugnapf von GoPro, allerdings ist er bauartbedingt nicht ganz so starr wie der GoPro Saugnapf. Bedingt durch den GorillaPod-Ausleger mit den vielen Gelenken, kann die Kamera im Auto etwas wackeln. Allerdings nur, wenn man mal ein übles Schlagloch erwischt. Ich hänge an diesen Saugnapf meine SJCam MJ10 Plus dran. Die ist schön klein und leicht und hat außerdem einen Bildstabilisator.Der SUBLIMEWARE® Saugnapf sieht dem Original zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Da ich ebenfalls das Original habe, kann ich das direkt vergleichen. Der einzige Unterschied ist der, dass anstatt GoPro hier Sublimeware auf dem Napf steht.Mit dem Original-GoPro-Saugnapf bin ich maximal 70 km/h mit dem Auto gefahren und hatte den Sauger außen neben dem Tankdeckel befestigt. Ein langer Lanyard diente als Sicherung, um das Tankdeckelschloss gewickelt. Doch der Lanyard musste nie aktiv schützen.Mit im Paket ist ein kurzer Ausleger. Damit wackelt die Kamera kein bisschen. Ebenfalls ist ein langer Ausleger dabei, doch auch damit wackelt die Kamera gar nicht. Müßig ist nur das Umbauen von einen auf den anderen Halter. Alles identisch, wie beim GoPro-Original.Chemische Analysen kann ich leider nicht anstellen, ob der verwendete Kunststoff der selbe ist, wie bei GoPro. Darum muss ich mal einen Langzeittest machen. Nicht dass hier der Kunststoff auch nach ein paar Jahren bricht, wie bei dem Billigstteil.Der Preis vom SUBLIMEWARE® - Saugnapf ist nur halb so hoch, wie vom GoPro-Saugnapf. Darum bin ich froh, dass es diesen hier gibt!FAZIT:♥♥♥♥♥♥Der stabilste und beste Saugnapf von GoPro für die GoPro und andere Actioncams hat nun einen relativ günstigen Zwillingsbruder bekommen.Wer allerdings die Kamera schnell positionieren muss, für den wäre ein Saugnapf mit stabilem!! Kugelkopf angebracht, denn das Ausrichten und Umbauen der Arme des Saugnapfes ist etwas mühsam. Genau wie bei dem Suction-Cup von GoPro.Vergesst übrigens die billigen Dinger für unter 10 Euro. Die wackeln arg, saugen schlecht und der Kunststoff reißt und bricht nach einigen Monaten weg, so zumindest bei meinem Billigstteil, welches in einem Set von Befestigungen und Ärmchen war.
