Amazing as expected
These speakers perform great. Reference series never let you down. I'm only powering them off a head unit and the base is epic. But the car has dynamat behind them to help ;)

They do need an amplifier and a subwoofer
I use these as front speakers to handle the mid and high frequencies. The clarity is amazing with this price tag. No distortion in some tracks (has strong guitar and piano frequencies) compared to speaker that have same specs from other brands. You will need an amplifier and a subwoofer to get the most out of them. I wonder what would the higher end of Infinity/JBL will sound. If you want to use them feeding them full range, get a more capable set of speakers.Update: (15 April 2023)Unfortunately I’m getting a bit of distortion in the midrange frequency (from 500-2000 hertz) in higher volume in some piano or flute instruments. Im thinking of replacing them for more capable speakers.

Some issue
Delivery was on time. I am always an inifinity product buyer. I never had any issue with all my previous infinity reference products bought in amazon also. But this time i bought infinity reference, sound quality is as expected. But there was an issue with the passive crossover. One is fully functional but the other crrossver, the woofer side is not giving any sognal to the speaker. Soooo disapointed with that. I had to bypass the crossover just to make the door speaker works.
