Great bag, more space than expected.
Bought this bag specifically for a week trip requiring uniforms for the week. It performed flawlessly, fit in overhead bins on American Airline regional jets A319-A321 with ease end out taking little overhead compartment space. I was able to carry all my clothing and other required items using this as my only luggage. I was concerned when I ordered it that I wouldn't have enough interior space once I packed my uniforms. However, there still remained a nice duffel bag size interior space once the sides were zipped up. The fabric feels like a durable mil-spec material and I had no issues with the zippers. My only concern might be the durability of the shoulder strap hooks and loops. The hooks are plastic and I've had terrible experience in the past with plastic hook and loops failing as I pack dense and heavy. Only time will tell. Attached are pictures of it loaded in the overhead compartment on the jet, and all the items I carried in the bag. In the hangar section I carried 2 button up shirts, 2 slacks, and a jacket. In the duffel I packed a pair of shoes, khakis, casual button up, 2 polo shirts, 5 undershirts, 5 boxers, 5 dress socks, 3 sports socks, a jacket, insulated bottle, all toiletries, gym shorts and shirt, portfolio folder, tablet, and random assortment of personal affects. I did find that wire hangers do better than the large hard hangers that most suit coats are kept on. If I had any recommendations for this bag it would be to put 2 wheels on one end and upgrade the loops and hooks with metal for the shoulder strap. Second would be to better secure the outer pockets. The 2 outer pocket flaps are secured with merely a small bit of velcro. When I pulled the bag out of the overhead it rotated enough that a couple items fell out of the pockets. I thought I had gathered everything but I ended up losing a very rare and special military challenge coin. Use the outer pockets with caution!

Solid bag for the price, perfect overnighter or weekender bag!
Very impressed by the quality of this bag. I bought it in dark blue and it looks great. No issues, loose strings, or glaring quality problems. I would say the clips to hold the end zippers together at the top are mediocre and could use improvement. Overall, the bag works fine with the supplied ones, I think they are a bit chintzy though. It easily swallows two suits, a couple dress shirts, underclothes, a pair of shoes, toiletry bag, belt, and ties without putting anything in the two exterior pockets. It also didn't really wrinkle much provided it was originally packed flat. Perfect for the overnight business traveler or weekender. It also fit easily into the overhead space on the plane. Only downside is that it could get a bit heavy on the shoulder should you pack a lot, keep this in mind if you're running through an airport!

Wrinkle free suits and plenty of storage
This is a great all in one bag for travel. Over all it is large and well constructed with an intuitive design. The drawbacks are minor and easy to overcome. Bottom line you get all the benefits of a garment bag, and the storage of a dufflebag.PRO:-Keeps suits wrinkle free as well as any garment bag I've tried-Large padded bottom lets you efficiently pack a standard sized laptop or notepads-Durable construction and heavy duty zippers-Easy access side pockets (great for tickets, electronics, or other items you would want to have accessible during a flight)-Padded shoulder strap actually works and stays in place (unlike most others that slide/flip/eventually get tossed out)-COST!! This is as good construction and better function than bags that cost 3 times as much.CON:-Zipper lengths are imprecise on the sides leaving minute gaps when it is closed up (very minor but still an issue)-Zipper clips do not facilitate tight closure (the clips that come with this bag only allow you to secure through the pull tab of the zipper and not through the lock loops on the body of the zipper)-Using the bag while hanging can be a little awkward because the sides flap around.

Garment bag transforms into duffel bag! But is it a carry-on?
Yes, this garment bag will easily squeeze into most airplanes' overhead luggage racks, IF you leave the pockets empty and don't pack the bag to capacity. I just went on a three day trip (with a suit, a blazer, three pair of pants, shirts, shoes, etc.) and had no problem fitting it into an overhead rack. On the other hand, if you're packing for a longer trip, or packing, say, combat boots, running shoes, a military uniform or two, and civilian clothes, you'll find that it's packed to capacity. In that case, it becomes rigid and is therefore too long; you'll need to check it.Pros: Durable, well constructed, unique design; carry-on capable if not stuffed; clothes generally do not get very wrinkled.Cons: Small things will fall out of Velcro outer pockets; you must buy zipper clips (see below); it doesn't roll.Recommended accessories: Nite Ize SBP0-2PK-27 S-Biner Plastic Size-0 Double Gated Carabiner, Slate, 2-Pack (to hold the duffel bag's wall zippers together); steel hangers (e.g., Stajlig).

This bag is awesome otherwise. It comes with clips to keep the ...
It's true, the plastic connections on the straps are really squeaky. Not a big deal in a busy airport, but not ideal for sneaking out of the house for an early flight. This bag is awesome otherwise. It comes with clips to keep the zippers closed (though I just bought some TSA locks while I was waiting for delivery) and it keeps its shape really well. I previously looked at a garment duffle at Target and it just wasn't wide enough for my suit - which isn't that big at a 42L. This bag was the perfect size. Plenty of room inside and nothing wrinkled. No problems getting it through security and it easily fits in the overhead bin on the plane. I'd buy it again and recommend it to a friend.

Sturdy and practical
My husband travels for business regularly. This is his second bag like this, as the zippers do wear out after a couple years. He carries it on the plane and it keeps his suits nice plus room for other clothing needed for a week of travel.
