Corrupted all my documents
As good of a deal as this is....BE CAREFUL.I had a customers documents copied on my drive and it corrupted every single one. Office, PDF, an image docs. ALL DESTROYED. I didn't want to to believe it was the drive so I copied them over one more time with the Same results. Just ta make sure Imit was the PC, I copied them to a name brand drive and they were fine.BE Careful.I even reformatted the drive to make sure there was no file system problem.Reformated to NTFS. This was all done on Windows systems.Same result. BE CAREFUL

Don't do it.
There is a quick and easy test you should do on every flash storage device you are thinking of buying.Look at the average price of similar storage devices of the same capacity. Then look at the price of the device you are thinking of purchasing. If the price of the device you are looking at is 10% of the cost of the market average, it's a fake drive. Period. There are no exceptions to this rule. This applies to name brand flash storage as well. Just because it has a name brand label doesn't mean it's actually a name brand storage device. If it's being sold at a fraction of the price of similar capacity drives, it's ALWAYS a fake drive.512GB of storage simply is not obtainable for $15 anywhere on the planet. You can't even get close to that price on a legitimate 512GB of storage. You can't even get two 256GB drives for that price. As of March 2016 the brand name flash storage manufacturers sell 512GB thumb drives for $200 - $300.What happens is that every SD card. thumb drive, hard drive, etc etc etc tells the computer reading it how big of a drive it is. That information gets hacked by nefarious people who change the stats on an 8GB card to say it's a 512GB card. Your computer sees that information and displays 512GB of available storage and everything looks great. That is until you try to put more than 8GB of data on the card, at which point the data transfer fails, or the files that you think you put on it suddenly don't exist.

This drive is an absolute fake. It says it ...
This drive is an absolute fake. It says it is 512 but it has been altered to say that. It is actually 16GB of usable space. Not only is it a huge ripoff but when I tried to open it on my computer it downloaded something on my computer. I had to shut down my computer immediately. I now have to take my backup and format my computer and completely reload all my programs and files. A huge pain in the backside.Stay away from this product, you will be very, very, sorry. Even though I have now formatted this flash drive I will probably throw it away since i am very suspicious of what it did. Since I am sure it came from China somewhere I have no idea what it downloaded. DO NOT BUY THIS!
