I needed a thermos and did not have one. I was going hiking in the woods with my oldest daughter and her family on a nice fall day. I needed something to keep my chili hot for lunchtime. This was the perfect size container. The size fools you as it holds a lot and kept my chili pipping hot. The thermos was easy to open and did not leak at all. The Thermos brand lives up to it's name as the quality of this is very durable. I love that it has a spoon that folds and is placed in the lid. No worries about carrying or loosing utensils. So glad I bought my own! This will make a great gift too.

I stopped believing in insulated containers ever since I was a kid and my soup would be cold by lunch. I didn’t have high hopes for this thermos so when I used it for the first time and my soup was still steaming hot 6 hours later I knew this one was a winner. It’s hot where I am and I’m perimenopausal so my soup eating days are on hold but I’m looking forward to the fall when I can use this again.

I purchased this to bring food when visiting my mom in rehab. She is on a restricted diet so we are bringing lots of homemade meals. I’ve used it for soups, pasta, oatmeal, etc. and everything stays nice and hot. I even brought a milkshake for her once and it was perfect when we arrived 90 minutes later. Highly recommend. I do tend to preheat or prechill the thermos before adding any thing to help hold the temp. Just some ice cold or boiling water for 10 minutes or so will do the trick.

I purchased three of these for my kids lunches. I’ve given them soup, pasta with butter and the food stays warm (over 4 hours later) and It has never leaked. Lid closes tightly and securely and opens easily. My kids are teenagers with big appetites and these hold more than enough for their lunch. Considering I wash these in the dishwasher (top rack) and the outside color (red) hasn’t chipped or faded, they are very durable and well made. The spoon is adorable, added bonus. I recommend thermos brand for the quality. I’ve had other brands and they pale in comparison. Price was great too. Highly recommend

WHY I GAVE THIS ITEM 4 STARS IS THAT IT COULD WORK ON ITS LOCKING THREAD ON ITS CAP IT TENDS AT TIMES TO REQUIRE TO BE RESEALED TO BE OPENED AS ITS AIR TIGHT WITH THE HEAT. IT COMES WITH A FOLDABLE SPORK WHICH IS GOOD FOR STORAGE. IT IS ALSO EASY TO WASH AND APPEARS TO NOT GET RUST AFTER EACH WASH MAKING THIS A DURABLE PRODUCT.

I bought this to replace a Stanley soup thermos that the lid was starting to get hard to open on (the threads would cross). I like the size and the spoon is nice to have for when I forget to grab one in the morning but it does not stay piping hot all day. I typically fill my thermoses with boiling water while I heat up the stuff going in. I usually fill it around 7 am as I'm walking out the door. The Stanley used to still be boiling hot at 3 pm even if it was in my lunch cooler. This one was Luke warm at noon.

This is a great product I would 100% buy this again the spoon folds but it is medal which is weird but in good way so if you need it for lunches or for storage (for food) it is a great product but it is also very durable I dropped it like 10 times and there is no dent!

This is a perfect size for soups or any thing warm. We have done Chinese food in it a lot of different things because it’s easy to clean and start all over again. It keeps foods either hot or cold for 12 hours easily.
