Really Works Well
I received the Sun Blaster March first and want to test it out before writing my review. This sun visor works well, in fact it does an excellent job of preventing glare that gives you temporary eye blindness The product is made of sturdy non-glare plastic and the clip is heavy duty to take the moving of the visor and it stays where you clip it. The Sun Blaster doesn't distort or make wavy lines like the funhouse mirrors, it is tinted a perfect smoky shade and has a crystal clarity that is unbeatable. I highly recommend Sun Blaster 100%.

Pretty good product that does what it says
I wasn't sure whether to give this 3 or 4 stars. It does help when you're driving in bright light, but when the sun was hitting it directly, I seemed to lose a little visibility, everything became dark gray and I had trouble making out the landscape in front of me clearly. I tended to place this on the visor left of center, to cover up the spot between my front windshield and driver side window that the visor didn't cover. As a result, when i wanted to flip the visor up when not in use, it wouldn't close up all the way and I'd have to reposition the visor extender more to the right so it would close. I also found myself fiddling around with the extender while driving (not a good thing) and changing direction when the sun was in front of me and then to my left. Probably not the fault of the manufacturer. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is, essentially a rectangular piece of tinted plastic with a clip. Still, it's better than not having it at all, and I'm sure if I went on any extended road trips this would come in handy. When driving with the sun right in your eyes, using this plus sunglasses is helpful.

Doesn't Do What I Need
The media could not be loaded. I'm always surprised when my opinion is in such contrast to others.I received this item yesterday and immediately put it on the visor. I wanted it for when I'm driving directly into the sun in the early morning or near dusk and I'm blinded. I could see no meaningful difference with and without it from the sun standpoint. But, it so darkened all areas of view other than the sun itself I could barely see to drive.UPDATE:The mounting clamp is quite good, so I cut off about 2/3 of the plastic (the long ways) and put masking tape on the remaining part. This blocks the sun entirely and leaves the lower area of the windshield unobstructed. This is exactly what I was looking for in the first place and couldn't find. See video. [Maybe lawyers have protected me from this useful device]UPUPDATE:We use this homemade extender frequently

Decent quality - blocks glare
This product is clearly of good quality. The piece that holds in onto the visor is a quality piece without being too tight. Easy to put on, looks like it will stay, and has not shaken over the last few days of use.The tilt is held in place. While this is only a few days in, it is already better than other cheap brands. I feel it ought to be able to hold for some time (though, obviously, only time will tell.)The filter itself comes covered with two pieces of easily removed plastic. This keeps the filter scratch and smudge free, and is a nice touch. Removing the plastic isn't as easy as it could be, though by no means is it hard to remove. I got the front one off quite easily but the back took a more concerted effort. A tab would have made it easier to grab. The filter blocks glare well, which is what it is for. I also want it to block those annoying headlights. It seems to work well on the majority of headlights. But those really bright ones still come through.. Would it block a low summer sun? I do not know. I am thinking of getting a second visor to work with this one to make up this last part.---UPDATE (3/23/15): I have purchased a second one to use in tandem with the first. The two together form a much more effective block, even taming the sun to a noticeable extent. This is very helpful with those bright headlights, but not perfect. To use two, they can be hung next to each other and most of the two will crossover. There should be space between two so they do not lay on each other, otherwise it can act as a mirror. Even so, on certain angles, with bright sunlight, it is hard to see through.A darker one would be better than two because if these drawbacks. Alas, i do not see such an option.

Put the Money Towards Excellent Sunglasses
Well, this was not going to work out for me. I found it too awkward trying to look thru this little rectangle suspended from the visor between you and the front windshield. I'm not sure the optics are great quality either. But the piece seems well constructed, the clip strong, I don't think it would fall off once it's on. It's just too unnatural, to me, to not be using my whole front window. It could be valuable on a long stretch, say thru a dessert to add another level of eye protection, But still the best thing is good quality.
