They are big and bulky but not really designed for small tasks. I use then for picking up large skewers, hot trays and baskets. I have a drum smoker so sometimes have to reach into the bottom. They give great protection including on my forarms. When needed I can pick up fully lit coals to move them about without getting burned. They are thick and durable. Wash really well in the washing machine.

These gloves offered a good comparable product to more known brand BBQ gloves, the advantage over most is there is two in a pack!. The grips on the gloves are dual sided so it doesn't matter which one you pick up (you get two in a pack) and the gauntlet cuff is long and protects the wrist from heat of the coals. I was able to handle cast iron directly from the BBQ and also turning food with short tongs my hands felt well protected and there was no heat penetration. Silicone was very grippy and easy to wipe clean.Gloves are one-size and I take a L/XL in most gloves and these were generous fit due to the material there was lots of stretch

Good value for money. I like the longer length of the glove as it protects 5inches higher than my wrists. I normally wear a mens size 9 glove, and this fits perfectly.It's too big for my wife who wears a size 6 glove, but it is still usable, even if her dexterity is affected by the fi gers of the gloves being too long.When it comes to heat resistance, the marketing is over hyped. I have worked in kitchens when I was younger so I know my way around temperature levels well.When removing a loaded aluminium baking tray from an oven at 220 degrees centigrade, it is essential to grip the tray. I have tested these gloves and I am able to grip the tray for no more than 12 seconds. This is sufficient time to remove items from an oven and put them safely onto a surface. However, if you are needing to hold onto a hot baking tray to turn food over to make it cook evenly, you might want to release your grip and take your time.Good but no cigar. I've yet to find an oven glove that really offers protection levels I'd like, so only four stars.

Only just been able to use the heat gloves for what I purchased them for which is BBQing, since I have received them I have been using them for my wood stove. They have worked really well when used with the wood stove and equally as well when BBQing.Really impressed with these gloves, extremely comfortable and well made. They come with clear guidelines on what temperature they can withstand and for how long - which my previous pair had no indication of what they were capable of. The grip is extremely handy as well, as when you are moving hot briquettes and charcoal you do not want to be losing your grip. Size wise they are quite large but I have always found all heat resistant gloves are quite large so this is not a problem. The fact that they are black is quite handy, as my last pair were white and became really grubby looking really fast.These are the best heat gloves that I have ever used, pretty confident I'm going to buy a second pair for the log burner. Wouldn't hesitate in buying these again!

Good set of gloves, they work great for loading and unloading items from the BBQ.

Super heat resistant gloves, ideal for using outside with your BBQ. First excellent feature is the double sided silicone coating, enabling the gloves to be worn on both hands, so no right and left hand specific glove. The gloves are universal in size, yet a good fit for a lady's hands. Another great feature is the soft poly cotton lining making them really comfortable to wear and easily flexible to move your fingers. The silicone coating is heat resistant enough for me to handle the deflector plate of my Kamado Joe BBQ and the grill grates and skillet pan handles without slipping. The long arms of the gloves protect your wrists and lower arm from any flame action. Another bonus feature are the loops on each glove so you can hang them from the side shelves on your BBQ if you have them, making them easy to use and also for after washing. I would definitely recommend these gloves especially for using outside on your bbq.

Awesome gloves. Cuffs are a bit tight so they don’t go as far up my arm as they should but definitely protect from the heat.They look really well made.
