My now forever lipstick!
I rarely write reviews unless it is something I feel strongly one way or the other about, and this lipstick is one of them. I have tried countless lipsticks and they all stink, literally. I don't want to smell wax, or any ingredients so purchasing something more than once is a big deal. This is easy to apply, moisturizing, and the color manages somehow to stay put through cigarettes and coffee. I do use the lip liner, and that is not as easy ...especially to sharpen, but does help to maintain the color.

Talk to me baby…
Moisture and creamy pink for summer. Lucious color for anyone. After using this matte pink you understand why the name “Pillow Talk” is #1 on your list of everyday favorites.

Authentic product
This is my always lipstick and I’m used to paying almost twice the price for it so I was concerned that it would be a fake but it arrived today and by all appearances is authentic.

MADE IN ITALY 🇮🇹
Everyone deserves a splurge, now & then. But if you're on a budget, I CAN RECOMMEND A DUPE. The brand is Milani. The shade is called "Secret".

Great color. Great coverage.
Recommended by daughter. Glad I took her advice.

Bland, dull color
Everyone was raving about the Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow Talk “ lipstick. I ordered it and when I put it on my lips it completely drained the color out of my face. It is a very unattractive shade of lipstick. I guess if you are someone who just likes the nude shades or plain shades of lipstick you would probably like it. I found it to be a most unflattering look. I would never purchase it again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If I could give it a zero star I would.

Really beautiful lipstick.
What strikes me as the difference between high-end lipsticks and low (and this goes for all makeup actually) is that the high-end have depth of color. In other words, they incorporate a much greater range of pigments within each color, so that the light reflects off of them in a flattering way. I'm reminded of when I repainted the walls of my house. I chose a special order paint (can't remember the company name) and I won't tell you how much it cost :) but I can't tell you how beautiful my walls were and how they made everything I hung on them 'pop'. It's the same with all makeup. It's far less expensive to make a lipstick that only has 3 pigments in it as opposed to 50. But they will always appear flat. Just look at the numerous photos of people trying to find less expensive dups, and if you pay attention, the dupes will almost always appear 'flat' or, one dimensional.I really don't care for MAC for that very reason. Their colors are all pretty one dimensional. And I have tried ALL the MAC cult favorite lipsticks.
