Digi-code Wireless Garage Door Opener Keypad Model DC5200

Product works fine, no thanks to Amazon technical support. While talking to Amazon technical it was determined this digital keypad would not work with my old gate opener. He sent me a return email. Curious, I called another more expensive Amazon vendor that offers the same model as this keypad. He knew the product and assured me this would work with my gate and I tried set up again and it worked. This in instead of a hardwired $600 new keypad that the gate company offers. Note, this is for a 300 MHz system with dip switches.

I bought this to go with a very ancient garage door opener that I have retrofitted with other Digi-code products (receiver/transmitter). It took me about 10 minutes to program, install, and test this multiple times. I haven't had a single issue since it was installed. My only concern would be when the battery runs out, I hope someone isn't stranded outside, but I imagine that is the possibility with any device that operates on a battery.

This was easy to program and works great when it has a fresh battery. BUT, it's a battery eater. My 9v battery last only about five months. And I bet during the 5 months, it was only used about 20 times (The remote in the car is normally used).Maybe i'm doing something wrong and the Digi-code folks, or another user, can suggest a cure.Thanks

Easily replaced the 10+ year old product with the exact same new one. Works like a dream.

Needed a replacement for our gate code keypad. This one is compatible with dip switch gate controllers. I tried others that weren’t. This one is awesome. It’s also the same brand that was previously used and lasted several years.

I bought this to replace an identical unit that was about 10 years old. Ultimately I was able to get this configured and working just fine, but it took a few tries. Given that this thing has probably $5 of electronics inside, I wish the cost was a bit less but I didn't really have any choice. My advice is to read the programming directions carefully and if you have a car/portable remote with DIP switches, have that handy so you can be sure you know the DIP switch settings. IF you have more than one car/portable remote, get them all and ensure the DIP switches are all configured identically and they all operate the gate correctly because some remote control models have DIP switches that can be accidently pressed by the battery or wires, rendering the remote un-usable and giving you an incorrect switch setting. If you're trying to program this remote based on a remote that's not working because the DIP switches are incorrect, then you'll never get this one working. Just be sure you are 100% sure you have the correct switch settings before programming this one.

Put it up in about fifteen minutes, programming was a snap, worked the first time and I no longer have to worry about losing my remote when I am out working in the yard. A must have and you can't beat the price. Thanks so much!!!!
