So far so good. I have been looking for the past month. I bought these 3 packs to replace the spiral light bulbs that finally burn out. The size was perfect for my torch lamp. The previous spiral were bought at a hardware store that went out of business. "Eagles Hardware"

The next time you good people install a ceiling light fixture,install one with a 'sconce' which means that you don't haveto unscrew retainer nuts and risk dropping the glass difuser.With a sconce you just reach over the top without unscrewinganything-and- use the longest life bulbs you can find. Well,these bulbs are the longest lifers I know of.

I am using them for outdoor lights on either side of my garage. This means they are on for 3-4 hours every day so these will save me money in the long run. Until you get pretty close, there lights look just any other light. (As you get close, you see the corkscrew design.)

There appears to be no glare with use of this CFL bulb and this is good. However, luminescence is much more orange than I expected and I’m not sure my husband likes this casting its strong tint onto his newspaper or book. He does turn this light off when he is not reading, which I prefer, even though doing so may shorten the life of the bulb.

I ordered a pack of 3 bulbs but only received 1 bulb. False advertising.

I've looked for these same bulbs in Walmart and Lowe's and this is a very good price. The bulbs are energy efficient and nice and bright. The seller is wonderful and ships right away. I highly recommend using this seller and these bulbs
