My childhood dreams come true
NVG - Night Vision GogglesThis model of NVG is amazingly cheap for what it's capable of. It is one of the only head mounted NVG's that have a 1x zoom, making them usable on foot while traversing an area. They also have a zoom function, but I personally find it nauseating because I suffer from motion sickness. (The NVG in general use does not trigger my motion sickness, don't be put off if you suffer from motion sickness too) The battery life on this NVG is exceedingly long, It's never ran out for me while using it, and I charge it once every week, with fairly frequent use. This is a very cool device to show your friends, and by far the best choice for this price. It has 7 IR levels, the seventh being the most visible. Also has brightness settings, which for some reason can be combined with IR 2 on max brightness to make it look like it's on IR 7. Battery saving tip, I suppose. Now, for the downsides. The only downsides that I have found after a couple months of use is the screen fogging up, and worst of all, the part you put your eyes on is extremely uncomfortable. It's a quick fix though, all you need to do is get a knife and shape it to your face shape. Without doing that, it'll dig into your forehead and cause great discomfort, well it did for me at least. In conclusion, I am extremely happy with this NVG and I would happily buy it again.

I just got it and it looks good on my airsoft helmet

Good gear for the price.
This is a good piece of kit for the asking price. The original field of view is somewhat limited so I have adapted the unit with a fish eye lens which produces a far wider field of view. The IR on this unit gives a fairly noticeable red glow, however this can be reduced by using an external source instead. Battery life is reduced because of the LCD screen, but is still good and usable. Overall, a nice unit on a budget.

Night vision
Very good I.r. night vision, the 2 infra red lights can be clearly seen but does not seem to affect wide life, don't mistake this for a night scope or thermals but we'll worth the price for me

Not good for someone who wears glasses.
For me personally the product was ok for the price but I wear glasses and I could not get a good focus on the focus wheel for me to see through the goggles.I expect the goggles are good for someone who does not wear glasses or someone wears contact lenses.

Inexpensive but fun NightVision
Probably the best option for IR goggles under £200. Includes 7 levels of IR illumination but be warned, the dull red glow from the two infrared illuminators will be visible. Still, better than shining a very obvious torch to tell everyone within a half mile you're there. What's useful is the IR mode 0 that allows you to use an external IR source with a higher wavelength so you can be more invisible but still use the goggles. A 940nm IR torch pointed to the ground will bounce enough IR light to illuminate the area so you can sneak up on your friends without being seen. Has digital zoom, only 2x though. Would definitely recommend for things like Airsoft. Use a tracer unit with glow in the dark BBs for some super realistic tracers to enhance your milsim experience.

Useless
Bulky, has no camera, i can zoom better with my bare eyes, narrow vision so you cannot walk safely while wearing it

Amazing value for money
This product is superb, I'm loving the simplicity of it.The battery life is excellent and the overall weight and the distribution mean it balances nicely on a helmet mount.Downsides would be, no optical magnification and no ability to capture video/stills. The screen is really good - the image appears a bit blurred at first but you soon get used to it.We use this and the 110R to look for lost dogs at night. While it's miles behind a thermal imaging camera, so is the price. I also have a starlight scope to use but I much prefer to use the Swift Goggles.
