Great product, that goes a ways and smells excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised by the nice masculine packaging of this Exfoliating scrub. It does a great job cleaning your face and getting dirt out of your pores. It smells very good, but not overwhelmingly strong. And if you're worried about it smelling when you get out of the shower, don't worry about it because the sent washes off with the water. Is this stuff a complete life changer? No, but it does a pretty good job at cleaning your face and leaving a nice clean sensation. Overall an excellent product!

I like the after smell - it smells very manly
My husband has really sensitive skin, and tends to break out when he shaves his beard (which he has to keep either clean shaven or very short for work). I got him this to see if it would help keep his ingrown hairs at bay, especially in his jawline and upper lip area and even he said that he isn't breaking out as much after shaving. He likes the scent, which is all that matters, and while I think it's a *little* overwhelming at first, after he uses it on his skin and washes it off, I like the after smell - it smells very manly :) I did receive this at a deep discount or free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, regardless, all opinions are my own.

Didn't like it
This feels like it's doing a good job of exfoliating when you scrub with it but about a half-hour later my skin always starts to feel very dry after using it even though I apply aloe vera moisturizer soon after using it.

Great All in One Product!
My husband is NOT a metro kind of guy, or into wearing cologne, or using hair products. He prefers the simple routine of using one soap for everything...lol..he often chides me for having so many bottles, potions and lotions around the bathroom.The first thing I noticed about this scrub is how it smelled, it has a clean scent. Kind of a cross between bar soap and men's deodorant. I asked if he liked the smell and he said he didn't really notice it so, I would assume that's a good thing! I notice it and I like it! :) He spent 10+ years living in South Florida, frequenting the beach and not using sunscreen. He has been noticing the effects sun damage has had on his skin and is not liking it. (He's in his mid 30's and is seeing deep lines pop up around his eyes and forehead.) After his first few uses I asked him how he felt the scrub was working for him. I was surprised, because he really liked it! He said that it has more "grit" to it than the other scrubs we have, (Ha! He HAS been using my products!) and that his skin feels softer than it has in a long time.Unlike most scrubs you find in the grocery store made with apricot shell, this scrub has pumice stone, apricot shells and olive seeds. A mans skin is much tougher than a woman's, so it would make sense that a scrub for men would contain more abrasive ingredients in order to penetrate the skin layers. One of the features according to the box is deep cleaning of the pores, I have noticed that he does not have as many black heads and his skin has a more even tone.I am positive Valentia Exfoliating Scrub for Men is going to be a regular occupant of our bathroom! Now he will have two products he uses! This scrub is really an all in one product: it exfoliates to buff out dead skin cells; Safflower, Coconut and Sweet Almond Oils to moisturize, and Witch Hazel to cleanse and tone the skin.This scrub is a great starter for those minimalist kinda guys and a wonderful replacement product for guys who need more finesse in their skin care regimen. Smells and works great
This smells AMAZING. I would describe it as a soft classic "Manly" scent and it stays with the skin after washing off. Additionally, i love the exfoliant used in this scrub. its fine enough that i feel like i am not tearing up my skin, but there's tons of it so I know it's working. After use, my skin felt super soft and not tight or dry at all. Although i received this free for review I can definitely see myself repurchasing.
