I like this a lot. I'm on my second one. Why, cause there is only one small drawback: The brim sweat stains, and with the super light color, after a while, it just doesn't come out.Otherwise, comfortable, easy to size adjust (except the slide button is right at the back of your head, if you are sitting in a car seat) Cool idea of the inside pocket, and sunglass slots.To make it perfect? Maybe a slightly darker shade that wouldn't show sweat stains as much.

This hat was exactly what I was looking for. I have a small head so some hats fit kind of big on me and the bills are also too large. This one was just right (I ordered the medium). I love that it folds up easily and can be tossed in your luggage or in your bag on the go. The material is soft. I also really liked the holes for sunglasses. It did not make my head sweat and was very comfortable to wear.This hat will be getting a ton of use. It's kind of the go anywhere/go to hat for any excursion.

Medium was too small so I exhanged for large and it was just right. Not too big which was what I was concerned with when I had to got to the large.

Bought this for a trip as a backup hat and it quickly became my first choice. Easily fits in your pocket when not needed. Stays on. Keeps your head warm on cool days, and protected on warm ones. Probably not summer hat, but we'll see.

The stitches in the middle of the front of the cap looked dumb so I returned it. I hadn’t seen that previously in picture.

It's a solid hat. I bought the cream, which is light enough to keep the sun a bay but not so bright as to attract attention - for that one, the underside is a medium blue. I've worn it for a couple hours walking in the sun in 85F weather and did not have any trouble with my head becoming too hot, and the material dries quickly. The hat collapses easily enough to stow away in a pack and unfolds without trouble. It has a squarish design vaguely resembling a US military cadet cap, though not overly so.I'm a 5'10" male and first bought the medium, which was too tight. It may fit you have a small head, but I would recommend the large instead, as with that one, I was in about the middle of its sizing range.My only real complaint is, as other reviewers have said, the plastic nub on the back doesn't let you easily lay down - it's basically impossible to get comfortable because it's drilling into the back of your noggin. I'm going to try some modifications myself and see if I can manage to improve that part of the experience, because otherwise it's a great hat.For someone who only occasionally wears hats and doesn't look particularly good in them when they do, this one is relatively inoffensive, if nothing else.EDIT: It's been about a year or so, and the hat is still going strong. What I ended up doing is fitting the hat to my head, marking the elastic, cutting the little plastic slider off with a pair of scissors and sewing the two ends of the elastic together. Now I can lay back quite comfortably.EDIT2: So I do have that same problem that other people have mentioned, the dark stain that forms around the place where the hat meets the brim. Seems to be a sweat stain, though it might come from having sunscreen/bugspray on my skin, I can't really tell. Most washing methods don't get rid of it - including bleach and spray-n-wash, oddly enough - but I found oxyclean to do the trick, if you let it soak for a bit. I don't like this part of the hat, and would like to see an improved model where it doesn't happen anymore.EDIT3: So I bought a second hat, because the first one stains so easily. Here's what I think: because the hat is mostly nylon, bleaching it makes it more susceptible to staining (bleach attacks nylon, weakening it). My alternative was to use detergent and very hot water instead. Really, I actually heated some water in a pot (one I don't use for food) and washed the hat in nearly boiling water with some detergent, being sure to scrub it with the rough side of a dish sponge. This worked even better than the oxyclean at getting the hat stain free, though it did shrink by just a little bit, so be careful.

I wore this hat for nearly 8 months at work on a lake and I loved it. Lost it in the lake because of a fault of my own and realizing how much I loved that hat when I came back to my old Amazon purchase history. Let me tell you about this amazing hat.This was a perfect hat for the lake because of its easily adjustable shock cord. We got micro bursts that rolled through occasionally and with a quick pull at the back of the hat I had it cinched down nice and tight so the wind didn't send it into the depths. If I ever worried the hat wasn't going to stay on my head I could just fold it up and shove it in my back pocket!The vented sides also helped considerably in the 100+ degree summer heat. Though I did have to wash it a few times in the 8 months of ownership. The tan hat I had did start to show some sweat stains after awhile and I would imagine this might be worse or start sooner with a darker colored hate. (I see the come in many colors now, which is nice.)The hat also weighed next to nothing so you barely even notice it up there. I also like a good baseball style hat over the very touristy looking outdoor hats some people wear. If you don't want to look like a goober, and also don't want to ruin your favorite baseball caps this hat is perfect for those outdoor adventures.Glad I looked back in time here cause I think I'm going to pick up another one of these. The only decision now is what color!

I have been wearing this model hat since 2010. My first one (Khaki) was worn in Cambodia everyday for 5 years I lived there and only about the last couple months before retiring it, it got a couple tears on the top. Since then I just bought my third one 2022. All black since I am back in Seattle. I like the style and before finding this hat I never wore any hat and rather despised ball caps. I am not saying this is a ball cap, it is much, much better. More comfortable, more usable and the fact it can fold up and fit in your back pocket is amazing. I dread the day when this company quits making them or goes out of business.BTW, you may look at that price and say "Wow, that is expensive!" but think about longevity, it is about $5 or so a year!I hope you enjoy as much as I have!

The material is amazing, it's easy to fold up and put in your jacket or pants.However, the hat looks worse than most $10 hats you can find here on Amazon. It's definitely overpriced for the design, but the material works in heavy rain.

I like that this hat is light on the head and gives great cover to shade the glasses. Very comfortable. Recommend to anyone

This the best hat I ever had. The quality of material is very good, fits perfect and additional functions like clamshell brim and secrete pocket it's amazing addition. For the price you pay ( not chip for hat) you are getting hat for many years as the quality is SO excellent and the price you pay will paid of during years as you will not need to by any other hats for long time. I had bought before chipper hats with metal adjustment and some metal decor and after summer and vacation it's all corrosive and not looking nice. This hat looks like I will use it for forever! Very happy and recommend to anyone. It will replace all my hats that did not last long in good shape. An additional plus for this hat as this is 50 + sun protection.

This is my second cap. I love the it blocks the sun and can folk up small enough to fit your pocket!
