7 year old grandson loved this robot. Had a great time setting up obstacles and coding robot to avoid them . Great learning toy.

Everyone loves this!
Bought for 4yo but every kid that encountered it wanted to play. If you plan to give to a younger kid, be sure to read the manual first. It is only instant play if you're in the right setting and can explain how it works.

Not great for large group
I bought these for my classroom and they are fun for the little kids. My only issue is that I can’t have a lot of them going at the same time because they pick up on each others signal.

8 year old boy and his cousins loved it
The 8 kids (ages 4 to 9) put this together themselves and loved it. So much fun to see their teamwork and their delight in the finished project.

Was promised 83 piece accessories pack which was not in box nor did it arrive later. Was gift for grandson but never given to him. Extremely disappointed.

A fun way for children to learn beginners coding!
I purchased this toy for my daughter who just turned 5. She absolutely loves playing with Botley and the coding is very straightforward and easy for her to understand. She loves that she is able to program different codes to turn Botley into a frog, train, ghost and more. I love that she is able to learn how to program things in a sequence and use if/then logic when playing. This is a great toy for children who love to learn about technology, and I love that it's a screen free activity that encourages children to use their thinking cap and imagination during play time!
