I use this with an electric screw driver. Tells you the min to max range with the die, 1.730 to 1.760. Dial in the correct length range and trim in your press. So easy to use.

Makes quick work of trimming cases to length. Most were within 0.001” of each other.Only downside is that I reload multiple calibers, and I use a single stage Lee Challenger press. To be quick with switching dies, you need multiple bushings (the same as the one that comes with the press). They’re $15 a pair, so far I have 3 pair + 1, and am going to need at least another 3 pair. This adds up.

So my 308 and 6.5 quick trim work good. The 223 was difficult to use and my first one wore out after 200 rounds and started grinding off powder from the die inside walls. I returned it (Midway support was fabulous as usual) as defective. Now my 6.5 is starting to get problematic after 200 rounds. It's like the quick trim system doesn't like smaller diameter rounds. Which makes sense since the smaller the diameter the more work required and more wear on the cutter. And the new 223 is starting to wear too. I had to start using a dremel tool disk to grind off the bulk of the trim material and use the quick trim for just finishing work. And next up the cutter now over trims no matter how I adjust it. Cutter may be worn out, but after only 500 rounds??? Not happy. I expected to be able to do 1000 plus rounds without getting over trim. When this bites the dust I'm looking for a better solution.

Just bought and used a Lee Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimmer. It is excellent. I've been using a Lyman case trimmer that does the job, but the Lee is faster and very accurate. Just like the Lee dies, it works perfectly. I highly recommend it. Just read the directions first. I used a dial caliper to measure each case and it works!!

This case trim die is a perfect fit and cases get trimmed to exact measurements. Great tool.

So easy to set up and use, and it produces very precise bullet cases, all exactly the same length with nice lips. Use with the Lee case trimmer or the delux version and you can trim over a hundred cases in an hour.As with all Lee products it is well thought out, well engineered and a very competitive price
