I am a huge fan of Sterns Bakery. I buy their babka both large and small so this was a way for me to get it in a smaller way. They are like magical little chocolate cupcakes but better. Perfect with coffee or tea and always fresh. They arrive on time and they're always in the best condition. I have had to speak with the seller on one occasion but it was to ask a question not to make a complaint. Therefore I do not know that if there was a problem that they stand behind their product and there would be no issue. As cooler days come here to the east coast of the US I don't have as much concern as I did about ordering baked goods over the internet in 90 degree weather but even in the dead of Summer with temperatures higher than we have seen in years nothing I ordered from Sterns came in damaged or degraded. Every single thing I order from them I love and the only bad thing to come of this is my husband is not fitting into his pants so I guess I'll be sewing and letting them out a little bit or he needs to slow down on the babka and rugala. I don't know which will be but I will suggest you take my advice and you buy anything from Sterns and you will not be disappointed. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's never long. In the end it's always worth it and you won't be disappointed and if you really love their baked goods they are very giftable and they look beautiful and I could see putting them in a coffee or a tea gift basket or giving their largest babka with just a bow on it . If you are a chocolate fan this is the way to go and from all that I've tried even that's not chocolate everything they make is just wonderful. In times like these when we need to have more and more delivered at least you know with Sterns Bakery you are getting a quality product that doesn't just look good it tastes good too. I just hope I don't have to sew my husband's pants to let out the waist line but if I have to well I'll worry about that later dot-dot. After the babka, LOL. Seriously try them and try anything they make including this option because it's really really really really yummy.

The description uses the phrase "oozing a delicious rich chocolatey or cinnamon filling and lots of goodness". It also says "Moist and very delicious". Which is accurate if by "moist and very delicious" you actually mean "bone dry and largely devoid of flavour". Joshua may have led the children of Israel out of the wilderness and into the Promised Land, but they left this babka behind.Four thousand years later I have no great desire to experience Biblical baking archeology. Leave the desiccated bakery products where they rest in peace. There are better babkas out there.

With C-19, we’re all missing our traditions. Well, miss no longer! We have ordered multiple items from Sterns and are always thrilled. These cinnamon babka mini cakes did not disappoint! I also sent some of the chocolate variety to family. These go great with coffee. If they are a little firm when they arrive, microwave to a few seconds.

I had planned to buy two loaves of babka ( chocolate and cinnamon) I have ordered them before and they are delicious!!! There was no combination pack of the two loaves and buying them individually was out of my budget range. Then I found these! They have the same taste and freshness of the loaves but can be served in their little cups. No need to slice! Excellent for entertaining, for tea or just plain eating! I would definitely buy these again, They make great Holiday gifts!!!

I was really looking forward to trying, and enjoying, these. The reviews raved about these. ???Horrible. Not even the middle. Thought, well the middle has to be a little soft & flavorful. Nope. Plain awful flavor, and definitely not a fresh crumb to be found. I tried, believe me. Tried warming them, briefly - to soften them. Didn't work.I wish there were two other choices, re food reviews, disgusting or delicious.These definitely rate a "disgusting" x's five.
