As a dedicated user of an edgy but classic cut of Joe's Jeans, I frankly had a low opinion of distressed jeans; at least the kinds you bought that way. Of course, over time your favorite pair of denim wears thin and repeated washings over years provokes lightening of the dyes and wear patches that eventually become tears and holes. My all-time favorite pair of jeans of the Pepe brand eventually fell apart and I admittedly wore them not as a fashion statement but for the comfort and just hating to part with them. I sent for these Durables Moto Jeans almost certain they would get a luke-warm reception and review. I'm happy to report that I couldn't have been more wrong. I imagined the included adjective "moto" would mean a more rugged construction and the classic moto ribbed sections on the front thighs. These have both the heavier weight black cotton denim and those ribs. They have a somewhat slim fit but feel extremely comfortable in their cut and fit. The distressed areas in this case, I think were meant to suggest that you're an actual biker and maybe took a few minor spills. Instead of screaming, look at me and how hip I am, they are more like character scars that suggest a few manly skirmishes that healed nicely but say your no pushover in a pinch. The one on the right knee is the most severe and frankly I plan on putting a patch on the inside of the leg so the frayed thread distress doesn't turn into a full blown window which it would have with just a washing or two. I paired them with some Cole Haaan black boots and a long sleeve heavy cotton white tee, and have to say that this will become one of my new favorite casual looks. Its subtly rugged and classically masculine. Out of curiosity, I did a google search of moto jeans online and incredibly, almost all of them looked like they got caught in an office paper shredder, or you were the survivor of some horrendous vehicle accident. If that's a good look for you, and it might be, that's great. But these Quality Durables, convey all the ruggedness while maintaining the subtlety that can be worn by any male regardless of age without looking like you're screaming for attention. At under 40 bucks, I think it represents a screaming bargain since all my Joe's Jeans cost several times as much even on sale. I'm still working on what dramatic story I can tell of that one time my bike slid under the 18 wheeler, but my jeans saved me with only minor scratches, in case anyone asks.

These Distressed Athletic Fit Stretch Black Moto Jeans From Quality Durables feature motorcycle pants styling that is unique and just a little edgy.They are made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane (spandex). The care instructions say that the color may run initially and says to machine wash separately with the garment inside out in cold water before wearing and tumble dry on low heat. Continue laundering in this manner after the first wearing.These are 5 pocket jeans with metal rivets at the stress points on the front pockets. There is a metal zipper and a metal, stud-style button closure. The back pockets are plain with no decorative stitching. There is a faux leather patch at the back waistband with the Quality Durables logo. There is purposeful distressing and whiskering that matches exactly the distressing shown in the product page pictures.The most unusual feature is padded sections located just above the knees that feature channel stitch quilting.These jeans feature an athletic cut, which is roomier in the seat and thighs and somewhat tapered in the legs. These are not as roomy in the seat area as some other athletic jeans we have, though. I would consider them just a bit relaxed in those areas. They look pretty great on. I wish they weren't distressed but it doesn't detract from the looks. A nice change from plain jeans.

These off-the-shelf distressed jeans give the look of having lived a rough, adventurous life. But they feel neither rough nor adventurous. The material is an ultra-comfortable lightweight cotton/elastane stretch blend. Super comfy. Some of the distressed areas come pre-worn pretty then. In the event that actual holes break through, these faded black jeans would lend themselves nicely to wear with a pair of long johns (in any color). Wearing with long underwear would also make these functionally more appropriate for real motorcycle use. The cut is tapered and lean - very nice. I love the look and feel. At this price, they are worth a try.

These are very nice black, distressed jeans. I selected them for myself and they fit my female body perfectly. The stretch is just the right amount while still leaving the fabric of the jeans feeling durable. I love the ribbing effect above the knees and didn't notice they had that when looking at the picture of them on the product page. That was a nice surprise. They are very well constructed and I can't wait for cooler weather to wear my super cool-looking jeans!

I love this pair of jeans! They fit well and have held up over time through multiple washings. These look great and they are very stretchy. They are much more comfortable than some slimmer fit jeans. The pockets are a bit small but that's how most jeans are made now. Quality feels pretty sturdy overall. We would buy again for sure. Looking for this brand in other wash colors now!

Quality Durables Co is an Amazon brand and we’ve been very pleased with the quality and items we’ve tried from them. The Quality Durables Athletic Stretch has modern and casual looking details and trim. My husband really likes these for casual events. They fit good and look great on him.
