Easy fix to avoid new vacuum purchase
Easy installation and it fits perfectly. My wife ordered it, and I didn't realize it was a 3rd party product, but it looks identical in quality to the original hose that I just removed.

Hose fit perfectly. Be sure to take the black cap off as instructed before inserting into your machine. The hose is more flexible/stretchable than an original Dyson hose which is awesome. Product came quickly. Has excellent suction. Little trouble clicking in the smaller attachments. If you work with it a little, they finally click in. Would definitely buy again and I have purchased at least 3 Dyson replacement hoses over the years. The last Dyson one I purchased only lasted two months before the hose split in the handle area. Decided I would try this one and glad I did.

Perfect Fit!
It only occurred to me recently to check for a replacement hose for my Dyson DC25. This item came in quickly and was a perfect fit. I'm excited to be able to use my machine again!

Video of product is spot on.Easy & works great!!!Would recommend & but buy again. This was our first Dyson & it was purchased in 2008!!!Still works great!!

Remove the cap on the machine side
Like many here, I had a hard time getting the tube to snap into the machine. After a few tries I examined the machine end of it and found there was a black ring marked “remove before installation”. Removing that revealed the rubber flange thingy and I was able to snap in into the machine effortlessly. The tube itself appears to function as a tube and doesn’t have a big hole in it like the one that was previously installed so I’m satisfied.

So easy to swap out and seems to work great
I was able to swap my original hose with this one in less than 3 minutes, much faster now that I know how to do it.Works great. Suction is back when I’m using the hose to vacuum my furniture.I don’t think I’m pushing it in far enough though because it does pop off rather easy. I will get my husband to put some muscle into it for me.UPDATE: I feel silly. After reading reviews and advice about how to get the bottom of the hose to attach firmly in place, I tried poking and hitting things to no avail. AND THEN I saw the black piece on the bottom of the bottom of the hose that says REMOVE BEFORE USE. Enough said.
