Korean MRE Military Food Gift Bibimbap Spicy Beef Rice Food Rations Combat Surplus (120g/pack)

Big fan of bibimbap - as such this was a pleasantly close approximation. Not going to kid you, I'll still go to my favorite restaurant for fresh (once the COVID is over) but as an addition to my emergency rations &/or a quick meal these are great. Having new dentures made me worry how well the rice wold come out but no worries- was tender and nice and sticky. A full packet of the gochujang makes it pleasantly spicy (for me- add it gradually I think there's more than enough for most and too much for some) I made one for my evening lite meal and had some left over. it would make a decent lunch. I think in a pinch I could live on one packet a day (have some much needed weight loss but could stave off hunger pretty well). Adding it to my other emergency rations will be a good idea so Ivve ordered enough for 30 days. should be interesting to see how it reheats.

really good if you like a nice spice and great tasting sauce ! This is kind like a spicy fried rice meal ! I really loved the taste of this MRE ! you still need to heat up water some how and it don't come with no way of doing that if you was not near any thing to heat the water ! but for taste this is a great meal and much better then most MRE ! I looked foward to eaten it !

Actually liked the one I ate but added some Sriracha sauce to give it a more potent flavor & would have liked some more peas in it. All in all, it was ok for freeze dried MRE's.

These are actually really good. A word of caution on using the entire packet of gochujang. I myself am used to spice i eat salsa, sambals, even a raw pepper or two. But this, this was beyond what I could handle. Just add slowly and use to your liking.Taste is great. It cooks up quickly. Im not too sure how it is if you used cold or room temperature water, which the package says you can.

Smells and tastes amazing. Rice is very good quality and better than expected. A great pick me up in the field when it's cold. Definitely need sides to make a full meal. Recommended: Let hot water steam in bag for about 10 mins to absorb fully.

Good but it is not an MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) as it is dehydrated and requires hot water to rehydrate.
