4 heavy duty 3/4" cubed plastic molds will last for years. 4 screws and 4 washers for security. Insert black cube in the Mini 4 soil block chamber, fasten with washer and screw on the top of the ejector. Simple, taking about 1 minute per insert until you've done it a few times.

Useful for transplanting small blocks to large blocks
If you get the large blocker, you will need this if you also have the small blocker. The small blocks of dirt from my small blocker fit perfectly into the large blocks after using this product. Great idea! This year, some of the seeds in the small blocks didn't germinate, and this allowed me to use a smaller area for seed starting. When all other seeds germinated, I was able to place all the little blocks into the bigger blocks with no issues, no transplant shock.

I purchased these for my 2" soil blocker.. I use the 3/4 x 3/4 blocks to start my plants then pot up to the 2" blocks... this makes that process a piece of cake!! Soil blocks have been a welcome compliment to my gardening activities..

The inserts were very easy to install and my mini soil blocker works great as long as you get the right consistency for your mix.

Allows expansion without handling seedling tender roots
bought to use with 2x2 soil blocker, to be able to re-plant the micro-soil blocks. they work wonderful. screwing them in place is a challange, but not excessively hard to do. once in place, they make perfect little holes to place the micro-soil blocks in to. allows expanded usage of your soil blocking equipment.
