Winehug Self-inflating Protective Travel Pouch - Orange - Set of 2

the 2 whiskey bottles fitted snugly and arrived safely. A good buy !

I'm trying to understand why I'd buy the set of 2 for $49.99 vs buying 1 twice for $39.98. Am I missing something?

I bought two of these so that we could take bottles of Port with us on a trip across country (by plane). I had previously used  Wine Diaper , and while those work fine to keep any breakage/spillage contained, they don't supply much physical protection. I was pleased to find that I could enclose the bottles in a Wine Diaper and then close the Winehug around them. Depending on the bottle size (we also bought wine on the trip and packed it for return), securing the horizontal Velcro strip could be a bit tricky, but it did work. Then I inflated the Winehug and closed the end straps. Unlike some wine packing bags, the top and bottom of the bottle is also protected.The Winehug claims to be self-inflating. It is, sort of, but I found it more effective to blow into the valve.On both legs of the trip, the bottles survived with no issues and I like that they collapse, unlike some other solutions I have seen. The material is sturdy and I expect these to last for many uses.
