Short Vowel Workbook 1 - For Barton Students: I See, I Spell, I Learn® - Reading & Spelling Program (5 Short Vowel Workbooks for Barton Students)

I am a homeschool mom and two of my kids have recently been diagnosed as severe dyslexics. We started on the Barton Reading and Spelling program. We are slowly working through the levels. The two older kids are on level 3 now and my third child is on level 2 (even though she has not yet be formerly diagnosed, she fits the dyslexic profile). I was looking for materials to add to Barton. It is a repetitive and some times dry program, but my, studies show how important that is for the dyslexic brain. I have no problems with that program. I do though like adding in games and additional materials but I am very purposeful and specific on which materials (they must fit in with Barton and the progress of the Barton program). I was very excited to come across Right Sound Phonics and find that they had "workbooks" to go along with the program. I ordered the laminated pages for workbook 1 to fit level two of Barton. I wanted to see how I liked these before purchasing the other levels. My daughter in level 2 loves the colorful pages and that they wipe off with a dry erase marker (I like that so I can reuse with other kids or review with her). The "workbooks" are actual individual pages. The only improvement is, I would like to have seen more pages for each workbook but am happy with the ones they provided. Maybe they will make a "bonus" workbook for those of us wanting more pages. It also helps reinforce a Barton lesson when they seem to hit a stuck spot. If you are using Barton I encourage you to purchase these. My older kids saw her page and wanted their level purchased too.
