If you're an Ableton user, or wanna be one, or have a pile of buddies that say you should be, then you can't beat this package.The controller is wonderful. Great response, tons of options... I just got done using it for sound cues in two theater shows. Perfect!I was a non-Ableton user before, I'm a fully licensed Ableton Standard user now. For what I was doing, I couldn't have hoped for anything better...And the combination was killer. HIGHLY recommended!

No failure to launch
The media could not be loaded. Works almost right out of the box with Ableton 10. The Launchpad X has a solid construction with good hefty mass and doesn't slide around when playing notes or hitting cues.The layout is easy to get used to, and every 5 minutes I'm thinking "I wish I'd bought this years earlier."The hub works well with individual port power buttons and indicators, wish it had a removable cable for a longer lead but for my uses that's a minor issue.

Great controller for Logic Pro X
Package arrived quickly and I love the Launchpad X. I’ve always liked Novation products, they always think through the user needs and this is no different.I purchased to use with Logic Pro X 10.5 update and works seamlessly and is the perfect size in a small home studio.Great product, sturdy and well built, nice sensitive pads, highly recommended 👍

Not for beginners
Little complicated for beginners and have to begin with right computer program this was for an 11 year old

My son uses it for his music studio.

Hasn’t been opened yet but the potential is there.
Bought for my granddaughter as her birthday is coming up. She uses an app on her phone that has much less buttons and has been eyeing this.
