iCRIMP Ratchet PEX Cinch&Remove Tool for 3/8 to 1-inch Stainless Steel Clamps-work with ASTM F2098 and Non 2098 Single Ear Hose Clamps

I needed to reroute some PEX plumbing lines in a tight space in my camper. This was the excuse I needed to purchase a crimper tool. It arrived in a nice little case, with a nice cutter tool and a starter kit of clamps. The ratchet crimper itself was pretty self-explanatory and enabled me to make my repair quickly and confidently. There were plenty of crimper kits to choose from, but this one was reasonably priced and served the purpose. I'm very pleased with this kit.

Very surprised at the quality. Great tool and performs well. Watched a couple vids on YouTube how to use it correctly and off I went.

This kit with both the crimper and cutter along with multiple elbows,straight pieces and crimping clamps is an excellent value for everything it comes with. I was extending some water pipes and this had everything I needed for my project. The crimpers work great as well as the pex cutting tool and made easy work of installing the pipe. The clamps crimped securely on the elbows and fittings with no leaks. Everything fits in the included case so I can keep everything together. I am 100% happy with this kit and would absolutely recommend it for any DIY projects. 5 stars all the way.

I think for the money it's a good value, the cutter is sharp and cuts pex well, but not straight. You really have to cut mark your pex first and try to follow a line and not let the pex move. The actual cinch tool is great, but if you have never used one before, you have no idea how much to cinch down. It clicks as it tightens, but you don't know when enough is enough and if you are going to break the pex tube. I learned quickly that for a 1/2" pex-b, 3 clicks was not enough, 5-6 was a better no leak fit. The ratchet style was working well, but it has like a little lever you have to move to release the tool from fitting. Also, these are great for working in a wide open area, but they are terrible for use behind a toilet or behind a water heater. Basically anywhere where you need it in an RV because space is tight and the handles are like 5ft long. My next purchase will be the short handle ones that will allow me to get into tight spaces which seems like that's where I will be using it majority of the time. Eventually you will get the hang of it and learn to position the cinch part of the clamp towards the right spot to allow you to cinch it with the tool with enough room to open and close the tool. You have to fully open the tool's handles wide to allow the fitting to sit in the opening, not a fan of that design.

Works perfectly. Feels very sturdy. Great price. Light weight. Used for a few projects since purchasing and have had zero issues with the tools within the kit. Perfect for DIY’ers and even the pros whose customers want pex crimp fittings.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great perfectly. Never did pex before and this is so easy to use. Removal and crimping are equally easy and the cutter is smooth as butter.

Replumbed my well house from galvanized pipe to PEX. Had to use over 2 dozen cinch clamps. Kit didn’t come with 1” clamps, but no big deal. The tool was easy use but it did require some good arm strength on 1” clamps. Had to cut one clamp off, and tool did a good job with the appropriate change in the tool. Not one of the clamps had a leak, so I call that a home run. The PEX cutter also works great, so everything comes with the kit except 1” clamps. Very happy with purchase.
