I installed this to have USB 3.0 feature on my older Windows 10 computer. I have tried the add in cards and they do do not work. So simply plugging in a 20 pin plug and attached to my MB's USB 2.0 - 9 pin connector this worked as soon a I fired up the desktop. Windows 10 information box appeared on my screen suggesting if I plug into a 3.0 header, it would work as it should. Clicking on the desktop, made the message close. Does it run at 3.0 speed, I have no way to measure that, but it does work. So I am happy. I had to trim the devices board on the sides as it was a tight fit and hit against other USB plugs. On one connector it broke apart when I pushed he 19 pin plug cord in Would buy again, and I did.

I did not have enough 2.0 internal headers available on my motherboard, but I had an open 3.0 header that wasn't being used - used this to convert. Everything detected as expected and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Old case + new motherboard = no front USB 3.0 = plugging the front header into a different port = losing a USB 2.0 plugin for the back adapterUntil I plugged the 3.0 to 2.0 adapter in, and was able to plug the front header into it. Now I've got all the USB ports I need. I don't know how long it'll last, but so far so good. Windows 10 found it right away, identified my wireless keyboard + mouse, and everything is working as it should.

My AsRock already had 8 USB 3.0 ports in the I/O but no USB 2.0 ports. The case's front panel had 1 USB 2.0 port that was already connected to the motherboard's USB 2.0 header, and I needed a few more USB 2.0 ports for certain external devices. Since I wasn't using the USB 3.0 header, I used one of these adapters to connect a USB 2.0 internal hub to the motherboard's USB 3.0 header and it worked like a charm!

Don't know if it was the device or the p500, but I could not get this work on my P500. I ended going with and External USB 2 wire to USB 2 Header Adapter instead, and it fired right up. I was trying to connect this to a PCI WIFI / BLUETOOTH Card and it would not work (no Bluetooth). As soon as switched to a different solution it worked fine.

I placed a server mobo into an NAS case that used a PC USB connection. This item was the perfect solution to get my front USB ports working again!

I test fit the 2 usb3 connectors before using them in a PC and they gripped so tightly that the thin plastic broke on the male usb3 side.

It makes the idle USB 2.0 header at the motherboard to give two extra USB 3.0 ports though the speed is still 2.0. It saves the hussle of having an external USB extension lying on your desk.

Adaptador que funciona perfectamente, si te hace falta conectar 2 USB 2.0 y no tienes mas conexiones dentro de tu caja, y no usas el puerto 3.0. Este adaptador te puede servir perfectamente.Lo único malo es que las conexiones y soldaduras no estén protegidas. Por lo demás bien.

Un ottimo prodotto ma con limitazioni. Ossia, se abbiamo sul tower delle prese usb2 da collegare alla scheda madre con questi adattatori non possiamo pensare che diventino usb3. Comunque utili!!

Molto valido per convertire un header USB 3.0 inutilizzato sulla scheda madre ed avere un USB 2.0 . L'innesto è saldo e non balla assolutamente. Magari potreste avere il problema contrario.
