Good but I'm sick of all the angst
I did like this book so I guess 4 stars apply but I'm leaning more towards 3.5. The angst was just too much and frankly I didn't understand the reasoning behind it. (slight spoilers ahead) I get having MS is life altering but why push away the love of your life because of what might happen in the future. The future is uncertain even without a medical condition like MS so take it day by day and be happy instead of being miserable because of a fear of what the future MIGHT hold.

Wonderful
Another wonderful book by Ms. Trebelhorn. I have enjoyed all of her work and this was no exception. Both Jordan and Ashley's characters were women you wanted to see happy and loved. I rooted for them all the way.

A well written romace with some great characters.
Trebelhorn, introduces Jordan Stryker, a former FBI agent who has been diagnosed with the onset of multiple sclerosis. At loose ends, Jordan has gone to Las Vegas to try her hand at some poker tournaments. There she meets Ashley Noble, a woman she had a troubling and passionate affair with fifteen years ago. Ashley was married at the time of the affair and was a detective with the LAPD. She now heads security at the casino where Jordan is staying. For readers who love romance, the scenes between Jordan and Ashley will certainly please. Trebelhorn writes with a gentle, but passionate hand. She also is gentle in dealing with Jordans MS diagnosis, as well as her mother's dementia, and her relationship with her brother. With good character developement, well told family dynamics, and a good lesson in poker, this is one very solid read!

I'm so glad that I did
I received a copy of this book in paperback form in a book giveaway. I'm so glad that I did. It highlight's a subject matter that is so rarely mentioned--if ever--in fiction books--Multiple Sclerosis. This combined with a drastic job change--coming to terms with dealing with an illness and then finding her love math with a woman whom she had an affair with fifteen years previous.A well written piece of work. The author certainly knows her subject matter well :)

Finally a romance with some mettle to it: The main character suffers from MC and has to come to terms with it and love. Well done! This was a toughie to rate. A perfect beach/vacation read. I loved the Las Vegas setting and a woman changing careers mid life due to a diagnosis of MS.A solidly written novel that had me rooting for its two very sexy main characters, Ashley and Jordan. Well done, P. J. Trebelhorn.

Pocket Queens
How does a lesbian ex-FBI agent and a straight ex-LAPD connect after a torrid affair 15 years prior? Avoidance, teasing, flirting, denial, caring and finally going all in. PJ has provided us with another intriguing novel with insight into the poker arena.

Loved it
Good Lesbi books are so hard to find. So thrilled I found this one thanks to NetGalley and BoldStrokes Publishing. Well written. Charming story with well rounded characters that have flaws and hearts, and are sexy too. I loved spending time with Ash and Jordan and really didn't want this to end.

Enamoured.
Enjoyed this book totally, the author has created two great character's here that make you totally engage in their lives. Wanted them to be able to work through their pasts and grab their future together. The authors informed use of the impact of potential disability for one of the women highlighting the depth of their love for each other. Had to read in one go did not want to put it down.
