Everything about this flag is excellent.. except the seams/stitching. I'll assume the panels are identical in size before sewing together. However, the flag I received is bunched on one side, The flags' end seam has a curve to it. I hangs funny. I has a built- in bunching... Off the pole, it cannot be rolled up or folded without creasing the fabric because it cannot lay flat.I attempted to contact seller but could not through Amazon's link or customer form. I didn't unwrap this until I was outside of the return window, so shame on me. Consider how you'll display one of these flags and whether a bunched seam and the issue I described is worth the risk. Could happen to any producer, but there are plenty of other companies selling flags on here.

I ordered a 3'x5' two sided flag for my branch of service. Thinking the embroidered emblem would be stitched on both sides of a single flag. But It's like two flags stitched together but only on the outer border seams. You can pinch and pull the two flag halves apart completely until you reach the seams around the border. It would have made a better quality product to stitch the two flag halves together at intervals on the surface and/or at least around the service emblem. I haven't flown this flag yet but it is heavy compared to the U.S. flag I fly at the top of my RV flagpole. I imagine it will take a stiff breeze to unfurl and I'm a bit concerned about my fiberglass pole standing up to it. It is very good quality and the embroidered emblem is also very nice quality. I'm not going to return it and will just see how it flies. But knowing what I do now, I would not have purchased this double sided flag.

I purchased the Navy flag from this seller first. I was so impressed with the quality when I received it, I immediately ordered the US Flag from the same company. The attention to detail, clean crisp colors, and just overall appearance of these flags are outstanding. I've been flying flags for over 14 years now and paid as little as $20 and as much as $40 for different flags as they need replaced. As long as this company continues with their current quality I will not buy another one any where else!!!

Paying a few extra dollars for a quality flag is the way to go. I ride with the Patriot Guard Riders and display service flag of the member we are providing honors for...the flag takes a good beating at speeds up to 65 MPH. These flags usually last 5-8 missions with each mission averaging 50 miles. That's 350 or more miles at 50-65 MPH. I could get a couple of more missions but I refuse to fly a flag that's beginning to fray.

You will find no better quality flag for the price! Actually, you would have to purchase from an official DOD-approved source and even then you would be hard pressed to discern any difference in quality. You would, however, be shelling out a bunch more money. The 210 deneer fabric provides a reasonable durability while allowing for the flag to fly in even a slight breeze. Consider that there are TWO layers of this polyester fabric, since each layer is individually embroidered using color-fast poly threads and brigthly colored poly fabric for interior fields. The design and execution of each service branch's emblem, USA, USMC, USN, USAF and USCG, is highly detailed and will make you a proud bearer of any of them. as a 24 year veteran of the Air force I am proud of my service and its flag. this flag is well made, heavy duty and I am proud to fly it under my American Flag. The embroidery is done on both sides so no matter which side you are looking at you see the words correctly. It is just a great looking flag for the money.

Update. I purchased this flag in July, 2019 and was very happy with it and gave it 5 stars. In October I noticed some unraveling of one of the stars and repaired it. Since then I have had to repair most of them. The flag is not left out when weather is windy and it’s not rubbing up against anything. Very disappointed.Julia

The embroidery is very well done and the stitching is precise and plentiful. This is a heavy duty flag, suitable for continuous display outdoors. I expect to get a lot of use out of this one. It gets pretty windy around here, so I am fine with the weight, but consider if your display is in a sheltered area, or it never gets very windy, you might want to go with something lighter in weight. Almost forgot to mention the colors are BOLD. Hoping they will hold up to the Texas sun, but I think they will.
