It can sink!
I already had a feeding ring ,different seller, but I bought this for my mum. It seemed fine until I put it in the water and it didn’t sit well on top of the water with only about 2mm above the water line, consequently when food was put in and the fish started moving around the ring feeding it got hit quite a few times. This resulted in the ring sinking lower into the water and all the fish food floating out of the ring. I got a net to get it out but as the net touched it it then sank to the bottom of the pond!!😳

It sinks in the wind!
The feeder works providing there is no wind. I wondered where mine had gone after a few days and found it at the bottom of my pond. Same happened again and I think it is the wind catching underneath it and then water fills in the groove underneath and the ring sinks. I have resolved this problem by squeezing pipe insulation into the groove and taping it to the ring. Disappointing for the money but it works now. Only three stars because of the cost and design fault.

Fantastic for tadpoles
I got this to create 'holes in the sky' for the tadpoles in my pond. The idea being that the rings would hold back duckweed and other plant life, so as to provide light and easy access tot he air. They worked so well, I've bought another three!

Tried for 3 days then replaced
This would probably work if you just have very small fish in your pond but our larger fish couldn't get food and the 'knocks' it received as they tried to feed caused the ring to sink. Persevered for three days before accepting 'you get what you pay for' and replacing with a bike tyre,
