Could everyone please calm down?
I hate it when I see products with a whole bunch of 1-star reviews because people simply have ridiculously high expectations. You would think customers invested a lot of money in this item.First, as of today, there is exactly one review for the $14.99 3D VR Glasses. There is exactly one review for the $14.36 Google Cardboard V2. The remaining 101 reviews are for the $6.99 Google Cardboard Valencia Quality 3D VR Virtual Reality Glasses. Over a quarter of the reviews are 1- or 2-star and the "most helpful" review is typical: whining about something completely inappropriately. This cardboard one doesn't have a head strap? Didn't you look at the pictures at the top of the page? If you had, you would have seen there's no head strap in sight and the description doesn't say otherwise.Second, I'm not sure how valid it is to complain there are no instructions as my son was able to put this together and have it up and running in about 2 minutes. Literally, the photos above display how to put it together.Third--it's so fun!!! I hope potential customers are not put off by all the negative reviews because the minute you start looking through it, you feel compelled to click on all the parts of the app. I toured the Louvre!! I heard about Marie Antoinette!! I was able to look in all directions and up and down. When I was a kid, we had the ViewMaster with the circular slides. 3D indeed!! Right now, this is the ViewMaster best seller: View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack It retails for $29.99 but you can get it with Prime for $17.14.This reviewed item is 10x better than that old toy. If you pay less than $7 for something, why do you expect a product worth 3x more? Here's the best seller on Amazon: Samsung Gear VR - Virtual Reality Headset  for almost $100.If you want a higher quality cardboard Google VR kit, you'll have to pay over twice as much as this reviewed item costs. Amazon's best seller costs $16.99: Google Cardboard Kit by D-scope Pro 3D Virtual Reality Compatible with Android & Apple Easy Setup Instructions Machine Cut Quality Construction 45mm Lenses HD Visual Experience Includes QR Codes I think we need to remember that you get what you pay for and that's not a putdown if you realize the lower the price, the lower your expectations should be. This 3D device is really cool. It may inspire us to get a much more expensive one so it's a good first step. But it's fine for its purpose.

Great cheap way to see what it's all about
This took about three minutes to put together even without instructions. Just take a look at the pictures on the product display and everything should be pretty easy. And for the idiots asking which way the lenses should go, they point forward just like your glasses. This is literally just cardboard so I don't expect it will last long. First time my roommate used it she left a big grease stain from her forehead... something to keep in mind. But for the price it's very good - I think this is more of a novelty than something I would use all the time. If you want it for some of the games that are out there, then you will want something a little more robust, especially hands free if you plan on using a controller.

You get what you pay for...and a whole world of VR to boot!
You get what you pay for...and a whole world of VR to boot! There were no instructions included at all. You'll need to check out a YouTube video to assemble it. But you didn't pay $100 or $200 and can still enjoy 360 video. The lenses are okay, not spectacular, but what are you really expecting? It's a definite gateway product to encourage you to invest in the real deal or discover that VR is not for you. I grabbed it at a bargain price, so keep your eyes open and you can score one for under ten bucks.

Okay, but beware ...
NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. Seriously. Incredible. Also, it claims to "come with" the app, but it doesn't, and it doesn't come with any clues on how to get it. Fortunately, it's easy to find the app on the Play Store, and with a little guesswork you can assemble it by comparing to photos online or by using instructions from comparable products from other suppliers ... but seriously, how shoddy is it not to include a single little slip of photocopied paper that could 100% fix these issues? One assembled, it works fine (holds a Galaxy Note 4 out-of-case but not in-case), and it's a good way to try Cardboard on the cheap, but ... seriously. One little photocopied slip of paper.

Cheap quality, but a great introduction to virtual reality.
For the price this is a great gateway for virtual reality, but it also made me realize that I need to spend a bit more in order to get a better experience. It took me about 30 minutes to set up and it does feel rather uncomfortable, I mean what do you expect, it's made of carboard. It lasted about 1 month before everything started to break off. Yet, for $6 there is nothing to complain. I do recommend however to fork out more money and get a better quality headset. Trust me you will want it.

Fun but no assembly instructions. Thank goodness for YouTube!
These are so much fun. Some apps available that are good quality. As the technology progresses, I see these doing the same. My husband played with them for hours.I think they could be improved with notches in the cardboard that are a little bit longer so they don't pop out on occasion.BEWARE: does not come with assembly instructions, I had to watch a video online.

I/O distance a bit far
Good price and lens seem fine, but the distance between the eyes are a bit far. I happened to have google's official cardboard product next to compare it to, and it's about 0.5cm farther than the official one and I felt strong eyestrain from using it. I ended up cutting the lens holder part to bring them together. Eyestrain can happen because everyone's interocular distance is different, but I hoped it at least matched the standard of google's official spec.

It fun for the whole family! .....For about 5 minutes
It worked as advertised. Watch the online videos for assembly instructions. It's fun for about 5 minutes. Watch a couple of online videos, say cool and give them to a friend so the they can say cool. Honestly, I would probably save the money and put it towards the latest blockbuster showing in 3D at movie theater.
