Great for kids learning regrouping; very cute
This is a pretty simple game, everyone starts at 150 and you roll a many-sided die and add until you get the treasure at the top. Likes: 1. Kept my son's interest long enough to play the game and then do the reverse with subtraction. 2. Laminated cards help you work out more difficult problems. 3. Seems overall well made. 4. Cute. 5. Numbers not in order (would be too easy not to do the math if they were), but somewhat closely scrambled (so not too hard to find). 6. Can bring the treasure back down with subtraction (we make the storyline so we each get gold to bring back down to put boats. We make monsters helpful on the way down (they throw you into the water and you swim back with your gold)Dislikes: really just the dry erase markers weren't that good. Used my own and it worked great. Not worth subtracting a whole star for that for me.I am not sure if a kid who is already very confident at regrouping would find this as fun. It's a good way to get confident with parents' help.Cuteness: 8/10 (not as cute as Pet Me which is the cutest LogicRoots game ever)

So much fun!
I’m on a mission to make our homeschool leaning more fun, positive, and engaging. I came across this game for my daughter who has some learning disabilities. We played it for the first time today and I saw her do math, in her head, without crying or getting frustrated. The fun of the game took away the stress math usually causes her. I can’t wait to see what other games Logic Roots has!

Making math practice less grumpy
This game is great for making mental math practice fun. I wish it had a larger range of numbers. I do believe that we will tire of it by the end of this semester. Overall, though, it brightens up the math mood while we learn and that is probably enough.

Math game
My 8 year old needs some practice with math so thought this would be a fun way to do it. She does like it. It’s nice that you can actually play 3 different games with it and she can even play alone. She did need to get some paper and pencil to do some of the bigger addition problems. You could probably continue with the addition even after you finish the game to get higher numbers than on the board.

Very strong chemical smell
The bottom of the board is covered in a red material that is probably vinyl. As soon as we opened the box we were hit with this odor. The erasing cloth is also very smelly. I played this twice with my almost seven year old son and we finished each game in less than ten minutes. The cards that are provided for writing out the addition problem us useful. The producers of this game try to make it more interesting with a backstory but it doesn't need to be understood to play the game. Each person starts at a space marked with 150. Each person rolls the dice and adds the number to 150. After finding the sum of those two numbers you move to the square with this number. This continues until you reach the top number which is 149. There are a few spots that have monsters on them. If you land on one of these you go back to the beginning. There are also squares with vines that allow you to climb up to a higher number.I feel neutral about this product. It provides more interesting practice than worksheets but is not as much fun as Sum Swamp, and I thought that was a simple game. If a friend asked me about this game I would say draw your own version and find a dice with 20 sides. I would like to see more squares; maybe 400 or 500.

Fantastic FUN math!!
The math games from this company are FANTASTIC!! Such a fun way to learn math basics. My only (minor) complaint is that one of the alien game pieces came slightly bent. It is still usable, however, and does not detract at all from the purpose of the game. I highly recommend these to any family who wants to make learning math FUN!

Excellent! Helped Prepare Our Son for 3rd Grade
Highly recommend this game. It is well-designed, fun, and easy to learn and play. The duration of each game is relatively short, around 10-15 minutes, so it is easy to fit in a round or two of this game. This game helped our son with subtraction, including with double digits. We ordered 4 games to brush up on math for school, and this was by far the best game.

Wonderful addition practice
Impressive game. My son is turning 7 in a few months and is not yet completely comfortable with additions and this game is a wonderful practice. I was afraid it would be a little bit daunting for my son but it seems much more engaging and motivating for children than I expected. Plus there is a great variant with subtraction, so we will be playing this game for a while I think :).I'm so happy we have found this game !
