Really great tool for beginners and noobs like me to learn Arduino
Solid little board that has essentially everything you could need to start learning Arduino. I've had it for almost a week now and can honestly say its been a lot of fun running the template sketches and learning more about sensors and I will say the included guide is very thorough at explaining the logic and circuitry needed for the appropriate code to work. I had a small setback attempting to use their sample DHT-11 sensor sketch but it didn't work. There was an issue with the libraries so I looked for another library with a different program and poof, it worked.I'm still very new to programming but I can follow along and under the logic behind the loops and if/then statements fairly well. I've done some basic programming in the past but I wouldn't say I'm a programmer. I struggle to understand a lot of what I view as "programming" but for whatever reason, Arduino Sketches seem fairly easy and straightforward. By my third day, I had already created a program that would display the temperature and humidity on the LCD while also outputting that information to the serial port. If I use the touch button the lcd turns off, touch it again, it comes on. Not too shabby.. I can see myself getting really hooked to this and want to create all sorts of projects! The company is in Korea and they seem pretty new which made me hesitate going with them over a competitor at first, but what sold me was the simplicity in having an all in one PCB that is already wired to be functional and accept code! It's been fun and its a solid product. I don't usually leave reviews but since this had so few, I just had to tell others my experience with it so far. Goodluck and have fun

Complete Arduino Learning Kit - Nothing Else to Buy
The Coding Array Starter Kit includes an Arduino with a wide variety of 'peripherals'. Unlike most kits - no breadboard is needed! Everything is already connected and laid out on a single circuit board. You can learn how to use sensors, and LCD display, buzzer etc - without connecting any wires. Later - if you want to - you can separate all of the component pieces and connect them with cables - which are also included. It all comes packed in a very nice box, with a handle, and USB cable. You can take this with you as a complete learning environment.UPDATE: It is hard to overstate either the completeness or the convenience of this kit. This is such a great way to learn how to program Arduino /C++ with an array of "peripherals". It is so convenient to have everything all connected on a single board. As you advance, you may want to separate the sub-units. When you add-up all of the sub-units (peripherals), this is truly a bargain. Even if you never break this down into it's components, it's a complete learning environment. It should be fantastic for classroom teaching - even "homework" projects!

trying to encourage my kids
Got this as a birthday present for my son. My kids are not very interested thus far, but I really liked the fact that, out of the box, there was a demo that just worked when you plugged it in and I could demonstrate that sensors were working without even any coding at all.We got through the LED blink, and they are not yet excited enough to spend more time on it. I don't want to push them into it so I hope they will gain interest over time. Either way, I think this is a neat little kit. Great job putting it together!

Excellent product
I am a teacher and bought 6 of these for my classroom and one for me to keep at home. I have been playing around with Arduinos now for 4 years and I really like this product. I am planning on using it in my classroom when I want to focus on coding rather than wiring. I also plan on using it to test student codes for projects.Everything is conveniently attached which makes it really nice to use. The only downside is the manual. If you understand Arduino coding or wiring, you might be confused as to how to use it. If you go to the website, there are good tutorials, all the Arduino sketches and the libraries to use. I did struggle with the LCD because I have multiple liquid crystal libraries on my computer and didn't know which one I needed to use. I still didn't try the expansion board so I don't know how well that works.I am looking forward to purchasing the newer version which has different items.

Great to concentrate on the code
My goal is to focus on coding for the sensors not assembling the systems. This board eliminates the need to mess with wires and allows you to code for the sensors, even putting the inputs together. proximity sensor can light indicators, give output to a screen, buzz a buzzer and or spin a motor. All are 'hard wired' so you focus on the code and making things work together. You can cut the sensors from the board to use in a project, or leave it intact as a code test bed. Great training tool.

I never knew how easy some of these neats kits are and how fun they are !! Super cheap !!!!
When you've got some time on your hands and any love for anything electrical,,,,, you've got to check out ALL the neat DIY kits these guys have. Try a kit like this and find your self experimenting and making things you had no idea you could do. Brings me back to my science days. Thanks for all you offer. Jack

Incredible learning utility for non EE types
Recently, my job has called for quite a bit of Arduino based tasks to test IoT interaction with PLCs and other industrial and automation activities. I was thrilled to find this all-in-one kit pre-assembled and ready to use with no soldering needed. I am able to test and use different sensors without having to keep up with a case of little gadgets and miniature electronics. Everything I need is right there and ready to use and it is ignored if it isn't a part of my project. Genius idea for the older guy non-electronic hobbyist I currently am and hopefully a useful tool for the experience I hope to gain.
