Bought this bad boy because I've become tired of replacing hoses every year or two. My experience with "expandable" hoses has been that whether they're steel clad or cloth covered, in a couple of years, the thin expanding material inside will wear out and you'll be stuck.I spent about 30 bucks and multiple hours (doing various repairs) on a 100 foot flexible metal hose. My fourth try finally worked, but I didn't want to depend on it, so I bought this expensive, simple, Made-in-USA hose. It's heavy, (it's 3/4") and not as maneuverable as the old metal hose, but it looks like it will last for many years. I "solved" the maneuverability part by adding a 10 foot flexible metal hose--which is cheap enough to replace every few years if necessary--between the end of the big hose, and the nozzle. Of course, I won't know how long it lasts for several years at least, but if looks are any gauge, the Underhill hose will be around for a long, long time.

These 1" hoses are amazing! I have 2 - a 100' and a 50'. I use them in pumping the blackwater tank on my RV. The hoses are sturdy, the brass fittings are well made & securely attached, & the clear material allows me to monitor what goes through ("Hey, I remember we had corn last week!") I would recommend these to anyone who wants a big hose, with the caution that you will need an adapter to attach them to a standard garden hose or hose outlet.

The product was everything I needed for watering down a softball infield. The only the problem was the male end threads were damaged. I used a thread file and got the threads chased well enough to get the nozzle screwed on. The hoe was shipped in a clear plastic bag and during transit the threads were damaged. Seller needs to put something over the male end to prevent the threads dome getting damaged. Would of been a 5 star rating but unfortunately it cost me time to correct a problem created form by the seller

The hose is a little heavy (13.7 lbs) for a 50 footer but definitely worth the extra trouble. It’s 3/4” inside diameter which is larger than your typical 5/8” garden hose and boy does it make a difference when draining the tank, you get MUCH MORE SPEED AND VOLUME, this hose will clean the bottom of your tank better than any 5/8” hose I’ve ever used and almost twice as fast. The hose is opaque so you can tell right away where anything may have lodged inside the hose.Overall this is the best aquarium water change hose I’ve ever had.

We hook up to a water trailer and this hose is great and puts out lots of water

It’s not a cheap hose, but it’s high quality, worth every penny! Made in America!

Use it for waste disposal over a period of distance for my camper. It works perfectly

I really should have purchased at lest a 75'.
