Saw other kids @ the beach playing with these. Suitable for small kids who are still a little afraid of the ocean & want to play at the edges & not get knocked down by the waves. They can throw it in the water & it uprights itself & floats back into them on a wave. Grandson is 3 & he had a ball. Would bore kids old enough to use skim boards & other harder activities. Would recommend for the younger age group. Let's them use their muscle power while you relax & supervise play. Then when they are wore down it's nappie time. Cool toy. Would recommend. Order online. Did not see for sale in any beach shop or souvenir outlet. I checked.

These are GREAT! We purchased one last year that has held up well! We purchased a second one for our other little boy who’s old enough to play this year at the beach! Both boys LOVE them! It provides hours of FUN at the beach!!!! Very durable! Great value for money spent! We get so many people stopping and asking about them every time we are out with them!!

My kids 2 and 5 loved it! We first saw it at our vacation in Kauai and we had to order it. It’s a beach must have for littles! Hours of fun! Little surfer dude can surf any water he’s been put through. We’re all impressed how he comes back to shore. I haven’t had to save him in the waters, he comes right back!

This is such a great toy! Definitely adds to fun in the sun beach days. I had to knock a star off though, because the product we received was not the design as advertised. The board is solid red in color and not the hombre yellow to orange with flames. That was very disappointing, thankfully my son didn't notice.

The media could not be loaded. What a great toy! I ordered this as a gift for my nephew who’s learning how to surf (his father is a surfer). Originally I was going to put 4 stars because I had ordered “costa rica rick” the first time but was sent “Sumatra Sam” instead...I had to return it to get the correct one (nephew’s name is Costa so it was important to get Costa Rica Rick). I decided not to dock them off for the one star because I figured it wasn’t the seller’s mistake, but Amazon warehouse’s workers for grabbing the wrong product to be shipped out. Not exactly sure who dropped the ball there, but either way I’m glad I reordered it because the kids enjoyed it so much. The reviews were right, this little surfer dude catches nearly every wave each time. Also, it was larger than I expected which was a nice surprise.

I bought two of these toys to go on a vacation to Maui with my grandsons ages 5 & 8. They had an absolute blast, throwing them in the waves and watching them come back to him. They chased him for hours. Smart design, no batteries definitely a win and big hit.

Fun for ALL ages , this toy will not disappoint! Perfectly designed for big waves at the beach, splashing in the pool and bath tune! My 2 & 5 yr old grandchildren played for hours with their surfers, and made a lot of new friends whenever the surfer toy came out to ride the waves
