Truly Amazing!
What can I say? It's the Batman! Pops like no other... While many are not keen on the polished center links, I wouldn't have it any other way. The dual finish of the 904l steel compliment the two-two-tone bezel to a "T". The blue does wild transitions in different lighting, while the black looks of gunmetal at an angle. This is the perfect watch for a young professional to wear with a blue suit, or anything else for that matter. Super accurate timing from this superlative chronometer as well. After my first 3.5 days of wearing it, I noticed only +2 seconds!!! This is the expected deviation of this model per day, but the Batman is currently overachieving. Perhaps when it is closer to being serviced I will notice more +/-sec, but in the meantime I will be enjoying this amazing piece as part of my collection! *^_^*

Beautiful watch
Gorgeous! Great watch, hard to find, love it. Came with all papers and original box. Like right out of a Rolex authorized dealer but with a non-manufacturer warranty.

A beautiful timepiece, classy and durable, for dress or casual wear!!!
I think the Rolex GMT Master II with the blue / black ceramic bezel and black dial is a superb piece for either dress or casual. It may be a bit pricey in comparison to other manufacturer's models, however, this watch has the blue / black ceramic bezel with platinum coated numbers, and with 18K white gold hands - the hands and markers have a beautiful bluish green luminescent coat that is easily seen at night. The two-tone ceramic bezel is difficult to manufacture (I've read) and has a Rolex patent for the process. This information can be found in any Rolex literature. The ceramic bezel sets this watch apart from the rest. In certain lighting, the black appears like black onyx with a silver hue, while the blue takes on a deep white blue hue, and the transition between blue and black is imperceptible. It is a mesmorizing thing to see. btw, the blue indicates day and the black indicates night in the second time zone (much better than red and blue, or all black). The stainless steel case and triple-safety bracelet are made from hardened 904L steel, which should resist scratches quite well. Simply beautiful! This watch is a joy to own. It is classy, functional and durable - exceptionally easy to read the time(!), of all things for a watch to do. At 40mm in diameter, it fits comfortably well on just about any wrist size. The second time zone is easy to set and will find usefulness for tracking another area's time - I have a cousin in Germany, so mine is tracking her time zone. The availability of the Rolex "blue / black" (a.k.a., "Batman") GMT II can be elusive - I was lucky, because when I inquired about it, and then went to that local jewelry store to see another GMT for how it would "fit" on my wrist, Voila!, this model had just arrived there by FedEx. Luckier still, the dealer's selling price was $8495, which is about $450 off list price.Watches are a subjective lot, and I am extremely happy with the purchase, as it compliments my modest watch collection. As one of the reviewers stated, one should be aware that Rolex dealers' pricing is the same as the Rolex list price (and if the dealership is willing, sometimes they will reduce the selling price). That is, don't pay more than list for a Rolex. As for durability, my wife and I have four other Rolex oyster watches since 1988 - all run perfectly well and are still in style. Rolex, in my opinion, is in the "investment" watch class. If you have the coins, and you are a watch aficionado, a Rolex GMT II Master (especially with the blue / black bezel) is a very nice time piece to have. Thanks for reading.

Don't overpay
These are great watches but they only retail for $8950 from any Rolex Dealer. Two Dealers had the watch near where I live. You have to ask for them because they are not always on display. There is no discount but full price was $8950 and Rolex Dealers never charge over retail.

Beautiful, versatile, functional, solid.
Practical, functional , versatile, beautiful. Sold my Rolex president and a Patek to get this. (Only wore them a few times over many years for dress). That’s how strongly I feel about it. Already had a great chronograph, so a daytona was not really necessary for me. Bottom line: get what you like and what you will actually wear. Forget about what everyone else thinks. Wear it. What’s great is that this watch goes with a suit or a swim suit. Or anything in between. Multiple time zone functionality was a surprising benefit as I do business in 5 continents.

Buy this watch! Your wont regret it. I promise.
Buy this watch! Its the best watch in the current Rolex lineup. Its the one i wear everyday and i could literally wear anyone one i want. If You are thinking about buying this Rolex GMT Master II Black Dial Stainless Steel Mens Watch 116710BLNR - think no more. Its cool, its stylish, and it fits great. The only negative thing i can say about it is that they are hard to find new at dealers. There is way more demand than there is supply. We sell them at Bob's Watches as fast as we list them on the site. Check out our current Rolex GMT Batman's for sale at https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-gmt-master-1.html and to read and learn more.
