You have to holds it just right in your hand, using two fingers to gently "pinch" the lower hooves while balancing the weight, then turn it on. It will hover, sort of, but of course there's no actual control, so it will fly away. If your palm happens to stay under it and you turn it of (all more easily said than done), then it will gently touch down to your palm and shut off. Not a toy for the easily frustrated or impatient.This review left by the husband of the purchaser.

Sadly this broke after only a couple days of use. Not a very sturdy toy that is marketed to kids.

Rather cheap made for the price.

This toy came and first off the remote battery was dead. Then we tried playing with the toy and it quit flying within 15 mins. The plastic pieces on the horse did not completely go together and there were wires hanging out on the top. The plug in for the usb to charge the horse was off and went into the horse sideways. A parent definitely needs to be around because the propellers on the horse would hurt if it hit . Very cheaply made. I would not recommend this toy

My granddaughter is over the moon with this gift.To anyone who knows a child that loves unicorns this is the gift to buy.Its got power! Works much better than the plane model types weve had in the past.Its crashed many times and hasnt broken once!

You can’t control if it goes forward, backwards, etc. only the height of how it flys with your hand. It is also really hard to turn off with the remote and the blades spin so fast that if you’d kids fingers get in the way while it starts up it hurts very much.

We can’t get it to fly. But we sure do laugh when it fails. My daughters and I keep on trying but we keep failing, it’s cheaply made, goes up and goes straight into the ground or the wall. Or our heads but it makes us die from laughter.

We got for a gift. I was told it's amazing
