A Lucet is a tool used to make strong cord or braid. Dating back at least to the medieval period, it is perfect for making color-coordinated laces, drawstrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Lucet cord is far superior to I-cord...and lucet braiding is far less "fiddly" that knitting I-cord. Lucet cord making is a great on-the-go project.

This was a gift, but I was able to try it out also. It's nice and sturdy and both I and the recipient are very pleased with the quality. If you're in the marked for a lucet, this is a good one.
