Jung never disappoints!
I have read and reread many of Carl Jung's books and he never disappoints. He packs more into one sentence than most authors are able to do in a chapter or an entire book. I would not suggest this particular book to anyone who is not familiar with Carl Jung's basic ideas. However for those who have struggled to keep pace with his marathon mind this book will reveal itself to be a jewel in the crown of his collected works. His discussion on psychic energy and synchronicity although at times abstract resonates when illuminated by its correspondence with the archetypal layers of the collective unconscious. This book along with" Psychological Types" has helped me to bring the development of personality into sharper focus.

Fundamental read
For anyone who wants to understand their own depth psychology as well as humanity in general, this book is a must read. This book will require one to be psychologically ready to understand one's own mind and humanities struggle with the mind through the ages. This book is as relevant today as when written and will be relevant through time.

Excellent book, hard to put down if you're into it.
I do like Carl Jung. He writes like a young man, indeed he never got old. That is what makes him so fresh even today. His name means young too. If you like him, you will love this book.

Poor quality ink and/or paper
I am sorry to give this product only 4 stars because I love and respect Jung's work very much. My only problem with this book is the way it has been printed. The ink and/or paper smells horribly, a bitter, sickening smell of chemicals that makes me nauseous and I end up with a bitter taste in my mouth after just 30 minutes of reading. I have come across such poor quality printing of books before, but I never imagined a work of this calibre would receive such treatment by the publishers. It is very sad, especially since the price was not very affordable for me.

A great thinker; no one surpasses Jung
Every paragraph of Jung is gold. He's a careful essayist with wide experience and the genius to find meaning in it.

By far one of Jung's easier collected works.
Excellent works of Jung about the psyche and energies. Loved the section of dream psychology.
