OP/TECH USA1301082 Mini QD Loops - 1.5mm - System Connectors (Black) - Set for Cameras, Cell Phones & Binoculars

We have a Canon G7X Mark III and the camera has very small rings to connect a strap. These loops fit through the camera rings easily and they feel sturdy enough to ensure the camera is safe. The buckles feel well built. I would recommend these to hold any small camera, binoculars, etc.

These work well to allow me to remove the strap from my camera when using a tripod, monopod, or flash bracket. They also allow me to choose between different straps for different occasions. They are small enough to slip inside of my camera hand strap also. (See pictures.) The only caveat would be that they would be better if they had 1/4" "webbing" strap for attaching to the camera instead of the "string loop" type they have. These were obviously designed for small cameras with the "eyelet" type of strap lug, but I wanted something small that wouldn't get in the way when I am not using a strap. They work fine on a DSLR type of strap lug, but I would recommend keeping an eye on the string where it goes through the strap lug to look for signs of wear. If one string dreaks, your camera is taking an expensive tumble! Luckily these come FOUR to a package (instead of the two pictured) so you will have extras if they wear out.

Kudos to Op/Tech for their customer support. The Amazon product image and description for this item were wrong. Four sets of male and female connectors were shown and described. ONLY male connectors were included in the package I received. I emailed Op/Tech support, and they promptly mailed me four female connectors. I have used Op/Tech binocular straps for years, and the quick disconnect is a convenient feature. I recently purchased a new pair of binoculars that came with a detached rain cover for the eyepieces. I want the rain cover to be attached but quickly removable. So I bought this set of QD connectors to attach the rain cover to the binocular strap.

I've used these for a few years and I love them! I need to order more for the new camera I bought. They make it very easy to connect straps, carbons, or supplemental items to your camera. For example, the rings on my new camera are somewhat thick and the hole is small. That makes it very difficult to attach something other than these mini loops. Once in place, I can attach a strap if I want to carry the camera around my neck or on my shoulder. If I'm using my Cotton vest, I can detach the strap and use the vest's attachment system instead.I highly recommend these mini loops to all camera users as a quick way to attach and detach items from your camera loops.

I didn't know how to rate these, since the issue is not with the product itself but with the fit. However, the Op/Tech website does name these as an accessory for this camera, and that is not correct, thus the rating downgrade. Apparently they plan to make a similar product with a 1mm cord rather than the 1.5mm cord this one has some time in 2013. I look forward to that, as this is a great idea.

Sturdy and lightweight, these make removing a camera neck strap easy to get it out of the way when the camera is on a tripod.

Since it was unclear in the listing, you do get four pairs per order. I haven’t stress-tested them, but they seem relatively strong. I will update my review if they fail over time. My only complaint after quickly checking them out is that the clips don’t fit together snuggly, so they rattle and make an audible noise. I’m certainly not concerned about them coming apart, but it’s a minor annoyance. The cord measures approximately 1.35mm thick (on the 1.5mm product)

Tengo una mirrorless fuji X-T30 que utilizo incluso con lentes de 800 grs y todo funciona muy bien, no hay señas de desgaste en cordones ni se han ido despegando entre cordón y plástico. Acabo de comprar una Fuji X-T4 e hice pruebas con el lente más pesado que tengo (peso total de cámara + adaptador + lente = 1.3 kgs) usando un solo conector y el peso está bien soportado. De cualquier modo, yo siempre utilizo correa con dos conectores así que todo estará ok. Pensé comprar los Peak Design pero solo ofrecen dos anclas (para dos cámaras y una sola correa) completas por un precio más elevado, así que estos Op / Tech me funcionan perfecto ya que traen cuatro juegos completos (para dos cámaras y dos correas) por un precio mucho menor. Compré una correa op tech de mano que traía sus propios conectores así que actualmente puedo intercambiar entre dos correas de cuello, una correa de mano y tres cámaras (una cámara es ricoh gr iii, así que con un solo conector soporta el peso más que de sobra).Totalmente recomendables estos conectores. I put a strap on my camera when I want to carry it on my shoulder or around my neck. Otherwise, I want straps to disappear as best as possible. These little snaps work exactly the way I wanted when I tried them and I've bought more when I was buying and selling used cameras. I've had up to 5 cameras with 2 or 3 straps that were interchangeable because of these things. I still can't understand why camera-makers design strap attachments to be so difficult. These snaps solve the problem just about perfectly. You still have two little dangly things hanging from the camera, but that's not much to put up with.

There are other, similar-looking, cheaper connectors available. But I've been using OpTech for decades without issue, so why would I want to entrust equipment costing thousands to no-name alternatives just to save a couple of quid, fingers crossed? Nope, I'll stick to the brand I know and trust, thanks all the same.I find OpTech's connectors less styled but less bulky than another quality Popular Design. So they'll do me just fine.

il prodotto sembra ottimo come materiali e di buona fattura ......nella mia reflex da 650 grammi non avrebbe avuto problemi....solo che non riuscendo a convincermi del cordino mooolto esile......l'ho reso .comunque consiglio per una mirrorlex o reflex standard.......no zoom pesanti.

This is a device all photographers should own. I like the fact it easy to remove the camera lens and shoulder strap with this clip.
