One Year Review
I've had this microphone since June of 2021, so its been over a year now and its still going strong as one of the best desktop microphones I have ever owned if not, the best. Sure there's the upgraded model, The HyperX Quadcast S, however for me at the time it was a tad out of my comfortable price range I was willing to spend on a microphone but the standard Quadcast is perfect for everything ranging from just chatting with friends to streaming with actually decent, dare I say, professional audio quality without any sort of troubleshooting out of the box. I'm not sure if the upgraded model would have suited me better but the standard model had already blown me away from both its sound and build quality. Its decently built and can withstand some abuse (my delivery person threw the microphone across my front porch to my door without care and it was perfectly fine). The stand it comes with is fine by itself and if you have the room on your desk is definitely a good option for holding the Quadcast however it can be mounted onto most microphone arms if you need to do so. I personally have my quadcast on a super cheap mounting arm and I have found it doesn't affect the overall noticeable sound quality. The only thing I can really say is a negative about this microphone is that after over a year of constant everyday use, the red lights do seem to be dimming in some spots of the microphone but it does have to be dark in the room to really notice it, besides its just cosmetic anyway so its really not an issue.I have found that a pop filter isn't entirely necessary for this microphone as the noise cancelation of most software combined with this microphone is more than enough to negate that annoying popping sound. For example, programs like Discord will completely negate not only popping but pretty much all background sounds with this microphone if you have it setup correctly, but things that use raw input like OBS, Voicemod, ect. would definitely benefit for having at least a pop filter of some sort but it doesn't need to be any high end filter by any means.Overall I would give the HyperX Quadcast a 9.7/10 for build quality, sound quality, ease of use, and the really cool looking aesthetic.

Great Mic 🎙️
I used to own one of these and got this as a gift for someone and they love it too. It's a super crisp and clear mic with a built in pop filter and shock mount. The mic will pick up sounds from all angles so if you have a child or maybe a group of people over being chatty it'll pick up some background noise easily. It's probably the only down side to the mic really. But if you have a private room or gaming room this is the best mic for its price range in my opinion having used it myself for sometime before upgrading. It'll also fit any basic arm stand and comes with a stand of its own to sit on the table or desk but you can remove it. There is a touch screen mute button on top of the mic to quickly mute it and un-mute it. It's works on discord and anything else you'd wanna use it on.

Gold Standard for Everyday Gaming and Content Creation
A huge upgrade from any product from Blue, whether it be the Yeti or Snowball, HyperX has proven that they can hang with the big boys of USB microphones. This microphone has all the features you could need for a midrange or even high end setup. It features 4 different audio capture options, including cardioid, stereo, mono, and bi-directional, the lattermost being great for podcasting/1 on 1 interviews. The stand is made out of metal and very stable, so this microphone isn't going to fall over at any point. Very easy to mute and unmute by simply tapping the top like you would any touchscreen, and the red LEDs giving a clear indication that it is unmuted. The sound quality itself is exceptional, very clear and doesn't produce very much USB noise. The microphone has some noise cancellation through the foam in the main chassis, but an additional pop filter is recommended for more noise reduction. It's also very easy to adjust the gain with the slider on the bottom to control the volume of your voice. The microphone also has a line out audio jack that is great for monitoring, and even works well as an external sound card for a laptop or other device in a pinch. No software is needed to get the most out of this microphone, which is very welcome. This is overall one of the best microphones you can get around the $100 range that is from a reputable brand, and has given me no issues and only worked exactly as needed for well over 2 years now. Recommended to anyone looking to do light to heavy amounts of gaming or content creation.

The best mic I have owned!
Hands down the best mic I have ever owned. I have had several mics and HyperX is far superior with product quality and design. I ordered one for myself and my husband loved it so much I got him one too! This mic has all the features you could want or need. Easy to use, can plug headset into the mic and hear yourself and others perfectly. Great for podcasting! Let's not forget how awesome this looks! Glows red unless muted and the mute button...well you don't even need to fully touch it to mute. Just hover over the mute button to mute or unmute. Many mics I have had you can hear the mute button being pressed or they wear away and stop working.

Great bang for buck microphone
I've been using this product for a little under one year with my PC for discord calls, games, etc. It doesn't require any sort of software set up, which is nice. The audio quality isn't out of this world, but it's great for any non-creator use cases. The different settings on the knob seem to change very little. Having the mute button on the tip of the mic is very useful and a great touch, it's also super responsive and never misses a touch.I'm definitely happy with this purchase on the whole, it's an excellent microphone for causal use cases.
