a few extra dollars but the benefits are there. if you love your cat, try it!!!
consistency overall great quality.. my cat loves it. saw her more energetic and she lost a bit of weight. also i've bought the wellness wet food to have both and i cant say enough good things. the ingredients used are all understandable and not questionable/ gross (look into what animal by products really are as listed in other foods such as iams and fancy feast). this is grain free meaning less starch that slow down your cat and makes him or her tired and FAT. my cat has less shedding (though she is long haired so anything less is GREAT!!). she has more energy and less fickle. also she has less dry skin. her coat is shinier. NO THROW UP. My cat used to vomit with the other starchy animal by product meals. And i used to think maybe she ate too fast now i think the other brands made her have a reaction or sick. I've been using this brand now for a year and dont have any complaints!!! :D for the wet food my cat goes crazy over the wellness chicken meal and the herring meal. She meows for the herring one!

Healthy food
Changed to Wellness CORE Grain-Free Indoor Formula Dry Cat Food because the other brand we used more than doubled in price. I'll continue to use the Wellness. The cat likes it. Her coat is soft and sleek and her weight is good. The protein content must be satisfying as she eats well, but doesn't over eat.

Great ingredients, 30% protein.
Im transitioning my 1 year old cat from kitten food to this. Added 50/50 to her dry kitten food and she eats it all, no picking out just the pieces she likes. I hope to stay on this Ive used wellness for years Ive had 6 cats. Pricey but youll notice a difference in your cat.

Cat & I both like this food.
I have found this food to be excellent for my pets health. Some foods bring on a frustrating weight gain even when giving a smaller amount daily & given that’s she’s 16 that especially isn’t wanted. And if she’s left hungry, she’s destructive in creative ways, so I’m very glad to find a food that satisfies while providing ample portions. Her body & coat are in excellent condition. She’s picky & took a bit to make the change, but once used to it she seems to like it. Eager for me to portion out the days meals. I very much like being able to buy smaller bags given her finicky attitude about the freshness of a newly opened one...or rather ones that’s been opened a while.

Grain free, fish free. Good quality low calorie cat food.
It was so hard to get my cats off of garbage food until Wellness Core grain free. They love it. One of my cats is epileptic and allergic to fish so the grain free helps her medication do its job and the fish free helps her allergies. My other kitties love it too and satiates them. Take a few morsels of your food and place in water. Then take a few of these and do the same. This doesn't swell. That means it's not full of fillers.

They ate it like they stole it. Updated
Woke up in the morning to find the Amazon box knocked to the floor and opened. The bag of food was tore into. I saw this AFTER I had fed Mr. Nubz and Miss Bitchybritches their breakfast and put on my coffee. I don't do anything until I have had a cup of coffee so I watched as both cats took turns sticking their heads into the box and digging out some kibble to eat. They had no regrets.Update:Apparently this food does not taste as good when it is put in their dishes. Zoey will eat a few bites. Nubz just looks at me with a puzzled expression and asks for something different. The ingredients look like this is a quality, healthy food but if my cats won't eat it, then it's a no go.

Tiny holes manufactured into the bag? Why?
I haven’t purchased this cat food before, so I have no comparison to previous recipes or the volume of the food changing, as others have mentioned. My cat usually likes Wellness wet food and I liked the ingredients, so I wanted to try this.I don’t know if it’s just the case with what I received through Amazon, or if it is normal for the brand, but there’s a grid pattern of hundreds of tiny holes all the way down both narrow sides of the bag. Not shipping damage, not someone tearing the bag and a return being sent as new…these are tiny regular pinpricks machined into the plastic, meaning it’s not really sealed at all. When I opened the bag, I was expecting a second/inner layer or something, but no. The bag is just weirdly “ventilated”, and unsurprisingly the kibble smelled stale and awful. My cat wouldn’t even get close to the bag after smelling it. This can’t be safe or sanitary, and I’ve never seen a pet food bag with holes built into it. If this is not normal for the bags, it’s definitely cause for concern for their quality control. If it is normal for the bags…why?Returned this immediately for refund. I’ll stick with the wet food.

Soft furry buddy
My cat is a female siamese mix. She suffers from skin irritations and stomach issues such as, vomiting. At first, I was going to buy Purina's Pro Plan Focus: Adult Sensitive Skin & Stomach. But read that it contained corn gluten meal, which is a poor choice for proteins when it comes to cats. I liked that I could read Wellness CORE's ingredients. It has been four days since I had my cat transitioned to her new food staring with 25% on day one, 50% on day two and 100% on day three. Although, it has not been too long. I have noticed that her fur has become irresistibly soft like rabbit fur. I haven't seen her throw up yet. I will update this if anything changes. I plan to buy her probiotic enzymes to replace her cat treats because this will also ease the transition of her new cat food.
