That is why i took one star off, but is you use your laptop on a desk or any solid flat surface this hould be a non-issue. (I use while in bed). As long as the laptop isn't constantly moving about while you are using (such as in a bumpy car ride) then this shouldn't effect you.The English is really bad on the packaging but it doesn't matter you don't need instructions--you just plug it in.The on off switch is great.There are 3 lights but they are diffused so there is a soft dispersion of light with no hard lines and circles.There is a shield on the light which directs the light at the key board, preventing light hitting your eyes or causing a glare on the screen.The goose neck reatains it shape however setting it is tiny bit trouble some since the base wobbles while your bending it, but once its set it good.
