Motorcycle Adjustable Driver Rider Backrest Pad Replacement for 1997-2021 Harley Davidson Touring Models Road King/Street Glide/Road Glide/Electra Glide

The back rest was shipped in a box with all the parts bubble wrapped. It did include some nuts/bolts/washers that I did not use in my application. The black finish on the metal parts is decent but not great. The backrest was missing the lower angle adjusting nut so I had to find one. I also had to find a carriage bolt to connect the backrest to the front bracket (ecm). As they were not in the bag of hardware or the box the backrest came in. Other than the missing hardware the backrest was fairly easy to install but did take a little time to get it adjusted to the just right position. I think overall it is a decent quality backrest at a resonable price.

The backrest came bubble wrapped along with an assortment of nuts, washers, and one single bolt which is to be used on the two brackets to assemble them together.Overall, it was quite simple to install, just remove the ECM screws and nuts on the top of the fender, place the bracket onto the studs that are attached to the fender, as I said, VERY easy. I did have to disassemble the upper bracket to place a thick (.500) washer to increase the angle forward, but that took all of 2 minutes to accomplish.If you are having trouble with the installation, perhaps you should not be riding..:) :) :)

Installed on my 2019 hd street Glide, needed some support with a bad back. Installed easy enough, but did not get any info with the on how, may need to try all four different positions to so what one work for you. I lock tighten all the hardware with blue, to make sure nothing comes loose later. The back rest pad is not as comfortable as my old bike, but for the money will do, the cover is a little bit off as well. Should take about a hour with all the trial and error and hope it works out for you.

Quality is average. Installation was fairly straightforward though it takes a bit of experimenting. It looks good and serves the purpose. Given the price versus HD or other high-end options it's a good value. Makes a huge difference in ride comfort especially on long trips. If you aren't too finicky about the brand or build quality and just want a decent looking and functional backrest and a good price. This might be for you.

Bought this backrest for a trip to Daytona Florida 400 mile trip, this backrest made my trip very comfortable works great.

Works fine on my 07 Road King, after some adjusting.

Great item. Im not easy to please, but this seat bavk has me hooked.
