Small & Loud
Much smaller than I expected, but it's loud and seems durable, and very easy for the kids to play in music class. A great addition to our collection of sounds.

Fits in a live mix without being too loud
Have been looking for auxiliary percussion to add audio interest to a live set. The woodpecker effect (also sounds a little like bones rattling) fits perfectly in the mix, and is not annoyingly loud, but loud enough. It may not be used often, but it will get attention when it is! I got this at the same time as a donkey call (like the LP VibraSlap, only less expensive). They both are great!

This was a gift for my 15 yo w cerebral palsy. He likes to keep a beat and rock out with the rest of the family. The Nino percussion meets the needs of his limited motor abilities.

Good and loud.
Fairly loud which works for me. I volunteer at a museum and use this percussion instrument to get the attention of rowdy children. The woodpecker effect it good since we are often talking about birds.
