Not suitable for land sailing, though very warm and reasonably water resistant
This is my third pair of ski gloves, I use them mainly for blokarting, which is a form of land yachting. When we sail on the beach is always wet (except in the summer) so waterproof and warm gloves are a must. None of the three sets I have are truly waterproof, so I wear one set for the morning session and swap for the afternoon. These new ones seemed to be the most comfortable of the three and kept out most of the wet, the inners were a bit damp after 90 minutes but quite acceptable. However, after just a single session, the material on one of the fingers has worn through, as can be seen in the photo. This was caused by pulling in on the sheet (sail rope) repeatedly during the session. A shame as otherwise they are excellent.
