C.R. Gibson Pink Deer Baby's First Year Memory Book, 12.5" W x 9.75" H, 64 Pages

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this baby book as the description was vague and the price was so low, but the quality is so nice!It comes in a sturdy memory box, though mine has unsightly stickers on the side and a smudge on the corner. Bad luck I guess.The book itself has a fabric cover with a debossed deer design and a pink velvet accent. It attracts lint easily so be careful! The book is post-bound, meaning it's held together with screws, so you can open it up from the back and remove, rearrange, or add pages. The pages are thick and crisp white with really pretty colors, and soft watercolor/illustrated designs. The color scheme combines pink, purple, mint, blue, peach, taupe, and grey, with an overall forest/floral theme. There are flowers or little woodland creatures on most pages. Some of the language throughout is explicitly gendered for girls, but the overall design is not too garishly feminine in my opinion.There are 64 one-sided pages. All the content is printed on the right-hand side, so there is plenty of space for additional writing and photos on the left-hand pages. I tried to include as many pictures as I could but Amazon has a limit 😓. But there is a great variety of different topics covered in this book.These include: a name page, parents' history, parents' love story, a family tree, finding out, gender reveal + photo page, baby shower + photo page, memories for each trimester, ultrasound photo page, name selection, welcoming baby, first photo page, hospital keepsakes with envelope, birth story, birth certificate, birth announcement, hand and foot prints, welcome home + photo page, baby's first room, settling in, the world at the time, the price of... at the time, 12 monthly pages for the first year, baby's firsts, first bath, first haircut with envelope, first vacation, first holiday, 2 holidays photo pages, baby's favorites, parents' favorite memories, first birthday + photo page, yearly summary pages for ages 2 through 5, birthday pages for ages 2 through 5, first school + photo page, doctor visits log, height and weight log, letter to baby, and 3 generic photo pages at the end.I'm so glad I chose this baby book for my first baby. She's due in just a few more days so I'm eager to fill out whatever I can before she gets here!

I am in love with this baby book! The quality is great, from the cloth cover to the high quality paper. I love that it's all single sided so I can add pictures to the blank pages. Plus the fact that it's post-bound leaves lots of flexibility for thickness as I add pictures and mementos to it. The pages are a great variety with every month of the first year and then pages for up to 5 years. Other pages like baby's firsts, vacations, about parents, about pregnancy, and others are well done too.Shipping was great in bubble wrap to protect everything so well!

I am 74 years old and my Mom had a Baby book made my Gibson for call called “All my Life” I loved it an still have and it is very worsen down. I had two sons one 55 and the other 66 they also had “All my life books. They grow up loving the inputs with pictures of their friends had the friends over and shared the pictures. My mom on the last page said her good bye to I will do the same. It is creative gift to let them know what a good life they had because I recorded. Thank you Gibson it was a happy journey for all of us. Jennie Hauser

Very good quality product, but I was looking for a book for baby's first year. This one ends up being for 5 years which I didn't want

Beautiful but my pages were out of order... 4th month before 1st month and such...

I love that it comes in a box that you can use to store it in so it does not get ruined over time. It is also amazing quality, the pages are thick and so adorable! It covered everything I wanted in a baby book and more! Every month for the first year has its own page and then every year up to 5 years has its own page. I am so glad I picked this baby book and I cannot wait to fill it out and be able to look back at it for years to come!

Exactly what I was looking for. Elegant, but still with all the helpful prompts for making those memories special. Has pages for family tree, shower, gender reveal. Only one page per month for the 12 months, and then 1 page for each year afterwards.Only thing I would change is that the pages are only single sided. It does give the option to add tons of pictures to backs of each page though!
